I've stayed here many times over the last 5 years. It's the only place I'll stay at when in town. Always very comfortable and clean.

Front desk was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and updated. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was bright and filled with nice smelling soaps. Breakfast was delicious and the menu varied everyday during our 4 days stay. The hotel is conveniently located near a very nice Chilis and Aldi’s. The location is great as all the attractions (Breakers and Marble Hill mansions, Cliff Walk, Wharf) is a short drive away (about 15 mins). My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much!

Very easy drive to Newport attractions . Portsmouth is a sleepy town on the north end of the island. Tip if driving in from the west, take the southern route and the Pell bridge. Traffic through Providence was horrible.
The remodel of the motel is great! It is quaint and cozy and clean. The price and location were great b/c we could not find an affordable place to stay in Newport so Founder's Brook in Portsmouth was a great compromise for us. The landscaping is amazingly beautiful!
The bathroom is very clean, with useful amenities. The bedding is clean and comfortable. We have stayed twice and find the location very convenient for its proximity to the University, Portsmouth shopping, Newport and Bristol dining.
