Hilton Garden Inn was close to MCRD Parris Island and offered decent resources for the stay there in the area. Hotel sits off of the main city street or road in the woods next to a river or body of water. At night the front of the hotel has adequate lighting however the back where parking and an entrance into the hotel is available offers complete darkness with homeless and other would-be stragglers, vagrants standing around outside on the sidewalk and street corner. This does not offer confidence or a sense of being safe at all. Now we had a safe, and quiet time while we were there at this facility. Also, there are a lot of restaurants right there by Hilton Garden Inn just a mile or less i.e., Outback, Moe's Southwest Grill, Longhorn Steak House, Red Rooster Cafe, Dos Amigos Mexican, Saltus River Grill, and Bricks on The Boundary just to name a few. Overall, our stay here at Hilton Garden Inn was acceptable, adequate, and appreciated.

The hotel was great but my exceptional rating is because of the staff and especially the assistant manager, Sharnice Thomas, who helped me deal with a complicated billing issue (something I had caused through having made multiple bookings and cancellations). At all times, she was highly professional, personable, and knowledgeable as she calmly worked through the issue. It eased the stress I had been feeling and made the rest of my stay and my trip overall so much more enjoyable. I am very grateful for her support and hope she is commended for her efforts.

More out of order signs than working items or amenities...it was disgusting - in bathroom...women' was out of order...had to use mens....(lobby bathrooms). We cancelled our room, and went to another very nice hotel.

NO PARKING at my booked hotel. Has to get a different reservation in the middle of the night.
The area has spectacular beaches and restaurants. There is cell service everywhere which made finding places to eat or places we needed to be very fast and easy. I could have taken pictures all day it's so beautiful.
Recommend "Fishcamp on 11th Street" to eat, excellent seafood and steaks, on a shrimp pier right on the water. Excellent food and beautiful setting.

Poor quality and property not kept up.
Poor quality and property not kept up. Only one working ice maker on property and the others were grossly dirty and had trash in them. Room smelled, light bulbs burned out, no Kleenex in room, 2 styrofoam cups in room not wrapped in cellophane, coffee maker pot was dirty, ice container had bugs in it with no plastic liner only two towels in room. Would not recommend this location

Old outdated, price is ridiculous for the shape the place is in. If your looking for just a place to sleep than this may be suitable for you. The room we where in smelt of mold from water damage. We burned sage and a candle. If we were not only in town for one night and it was not a holiday weekend I’d have found somewhere else to stay.
