Trendy / contemporary makeover of an old bank (I think?). Quiet sleep, except when other guests are talking in the hallway. Everything was excellent about the room except one item.

This is a great location for people from across the border to eat, shop and relax, as I did.
It's friendly town with lots of good services, and easy access either off the International bridge or the major highway. This motel is in an excellant location, and is being remodelled, and it looks great!

We loved the river walk at night.
We loved the river walk at night. We also loved the dog friendly Lakeside Park. The light house is cool, too! The architecture of the houses in Port Huron are nautical in nature and very interesting to check out.

Port Huron is a smaller sized city than where I live.
Port Huron is a smaller sized city than where I live. If you are interested in maritime history it has a nice series of parks on the water with interesting landmarks. My favorite spot was Lighthouse Beach with its shady park, clean sandy beach and the Fort Gratiot lighthouse. Perfect for Pokemon Go players too! Pokestops and gyms everywhere! It was quiet, peaceful and clean. All the amenities are available nearby too. Annie’s Diner is a must stop! The food and service were awesome!
Breakfast was standard but nice. Waffles are always appreciated.
The hotel has a gem with the employee called Brandi. She quickly fixed our broken tv snd was ever so helpful.
However our room was supposed to have a river view which was non existent, and it smelled heavily like smoke.
The desk agreed that the smell was awful and offered to change our room but we were very tired from travelling.
The price quote sounded fair had there been a view but was out of line for what we rented.
I liked the location, across from the lake. I liked the aesthetic of the hotel. The hotel was clean, updated. We were on the remodeled floor and loved it. I liked the personal touches, with the "Welcome (my name)" on the TV. The restaurant was wonderful. Just all around great stay.
We checked out shortly after we arrived. The woman at the front desk was not the friendliest.
We picked that place because it had a pool and hot tub. The pool was full of algae and hair. The hottub was out of order. We got a different hotel and we're much happier.
The main reason for my high rating is the staff at this hotel. Everyone when above and beyond to help us out with our stay. You will not find a friendlier staff anywhere - I hope the owners of this hotel appreciate how amazing their staff are.
- Great location for those crossing the border to Canada
- Excellent friendly staff, very polite and helpful
- The hotel has Jaccuzi/jet tubs
- Modern smart TVs
- Beautiful view of the river
- Lots of parking
Good hotel (motel) to stay while travelling thru. Not easy to find (just before the bridge to Canada); but is not well posted as a Comfort Inn. Seemed abandoned or just not very busy; but staff were very nice.
This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. It is a standard hotel, clean. The front desk staff are friendly. We had coffee at the Raven Cafe in town the next morning. I highly recommend that cafe!
everything was amazing Shaina was awesome. gave us great feedback on places to fine. we ended up at freighters which is a part of the hotel thanks to her the food was great.
It was a perfect location for my work. The Staff was extremely polite and courteous. The hotel was clean. The room was perfect and I’ll be staying there from now on.
