The breakfast was delicious. We LOVE the pancake machine, not only is it novel but the pancakes are SO good.
What impressed us the most was the conduct of the staff during the incident with the "fire". The alarms went off appropriately and the execution of the protocols with regard to our safely were well written and executed by the staff. We know that other guests were angry about their sleep being interrupted but we both have worked in the safety and disaster fields, and we know how important the evacuation and the accountability for each guest is in these situations. Well done, Pittsburg staff!!

Location close to other needs such as food and gas. Staff was very friendly and helpful while they were on the property. The property, although very outdated, was clean.

Pittsburg has a lot to offer. I was in town for a bowling tournament. There are many restaurants and a great park. People are friendly. It is a town that has quite the history. The traffic was good and it was easy to get from point A and point B.

I am a Pitt state alumni and the city it self looks horrendous. Is there no plan. What used to be a quaint little town, now looks trashy. The town and the university will have a hard time recruiting students with the way Broadway looks

We had no problem navigating the city.
We had no problem navigating the city. Parking downtown was a little difficult especially if you can't walk far. That said, the downtown area is awesome...all the old buildings, the murals, and don't miss Harry's Cafe (the pecan waffle is excellent) ! It's a great mix of old and new!
Love the rooms, like how the sink is actually inside the bathroom and that you have to turn on the bathroom light, that it don't just come on like other hotels and that the switch is inside the bathroom not outside, that way I don't have to get woke up everytime some one goes to the bathroom and turns on the light. Also, like how the bathroom is placed at an angle, and they provide decent shampoo and soaps and even a shower cap. The bed is extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is also good and hot.
The Holiday Lodge is a great, budget friendly, place to stay. it’s no frills, a room and a hot shower. Perfect for my needs. I’ve stayed here several times. I recommend staying here.
