Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.
The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.
Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.
The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.
Terrible! Gross floors. Broken door handle. Cockroaches!
Terrible! Gross floors. Broken door handle. Cockroaches! Dirty towels and sheets. Staff was MIA. Breakfast was a few granola bars and juice! Absolutely ruined our trip! Couldn’t even walk around without socks on or your feet would be completely sticky and black! Roaches in the bathroom. One towel in the room that had black stuff all over it. The indoor pool had some texture like stuff floating on top of the water… gross!!! People appear to be living there also! Staff was so unsure on everything asked! It was a complete waste of money and took so much joy away from my children while staying there!

Pigeon Forge is a wonderful place to stay.
Pigeon Forge is a wonderful place to stay. You are close to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Sevierville. Has plenty to do and beautiful views. Has shows and amazing food. Fun for families or just couples young and old. Also plenty of shopping from the small Mom and Pop shops to Tangers Outlet. A wonderful peaceful place.

Unfortunately, we arrived during a huge CAR SHOW & Pigeon Forge was JAMMED with cars & people! Terrible traffic jams and total gridlock downtown & on some side streets. Trolleys were either not running at all or stuck in the same traffic jams in the downtown area. We would definitely avoid any huge shows or large crowded activities in the future!! All parking & eating establishments were filled to capacity & then some. NEEDED: Some sort of TRAFFIC CONTROL during these huge events!! There were unmanageable gridlocks for the entire event! NEVER AGAIN.

Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination!
Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination! Have been here 4 times in under a year and have two more trips planned for spring and summer! Originally my stay was centered around (Dollywood), but when you travel through Severe County and especially (Pigeon Forge), it's hard not to fall in love with this place! There is so much to do here that it never gets old, and I find myself wanting to explore more and more! Wish I lived closer, so I could visit more often! maybe one day I'll move here and be able to enjoy it all...all the time!
Our family went to Pigeon Forge to celebrate our son turning 16. The Inn On The River surprised him with a personalized card, goodies and a football laying on the coffee table in our room. Everything from check in to check out was nothing shy of AWESOME!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was fantastic! Fire pit over looking the river after a busy day was a wonderful way to wind down. Our family couldn't have asked for more!
Great location on the parkway clean comfortable pet friendly ( if needed) room has mini fridge microwave coffee maker and TV. Would have been 100% satisfied I just feel the price was too expensive for the quality of hotel I paid 300 per night I'd say 200 or less would be much more valuable but this was a last minute trip for us.
Typical hotel breakfast..was kept clean and stocked
Room was very clean, cleanest we have had in pigeon forge, fresh remodel..location was great, right off parkway, so easy to get in and out of lot,but right around corner from lumberjacks,,close to everything,,and bowling right across street if you enjoy that
The room was really big. It has multiple places for people to sit in the living area. The beds were big and comfortable. I loved the walk-in shower. It is really quiet there and in a great location on the parkway. They also clean your room everyday which isn't always the case with other hotels now
The complimentary breakfast was okay - but the breakfast room was quite small leading to conjestion at popular times. Being on the Parkway the hotel can be quite noisy with traffic noise at all hours (including "boy racers" and their noisy exhausts). If you are a light sleeper then take ear plugs
We will defiantly stay here again. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that says they are coming to your area to stay here. Beds where great. Furniture was beyond perfect. Clean. Shower was great. Balcony was a nice touch to sit and listen to the water from the creek running.
The breakfast man was really nice and very sweet to my son. We liked that there was a pool and the location was great because it was accessible (from Sevierville) without having to get on the parkway. It was also at the end of Pigeon Forge and made going to the National Park easy.
This is our favorite place to stay in Pigeon Forge. The hotel is always clean and tidy, breakfast is good, staff is friendly, rooms are big and perfect for families.the pools are fun and it's located in the middle of everything. Always pick this one if it's available!
Staff was super friendly! Hotel and rooms where clean and smelled great! Breakfast was great all hot and fresh! Love that you allow pets! Great location close to everything! Would recommend and will defiantly be back again, it’s the only place we stay in pigeon forge!
When we got to the hotel and they gave us the key we went up to the room and the door was left wide open. We did not feel comfortable staying. Because of the door being opened there were bugs in the room. We did not stay at all.
The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable. The massaging shower was awesome after a long day at Dollywood. The hotel was 2.5 miles from Dollywood and close to everything on the Parkway.
I loved that it was in the heart of pigeon forge, and I could walk to restaurants and a next door arcade. It’s a really nice hotel for a low price - don’t expect 5 stars for $50. I recommend it.
Perfect location in center of Pigeon Forge, very nice and clean hotel. Very up to date. Great price for Labor Day Weekend. Would definitely stay again.
