Location was good. Wide variety of breakfast foods. Pool and hot tub area is very clean and has a very comfortable atmosphere in which to relax and unwind. Room was very clean and comfortable as well. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Wonderful and helpful staff! Check-in was quick and welcoming. I had questions about the solar eclipse and the front desk staff was very patient and knowledgeable and provided us some tips about the eclipse festivities in the area. Later when I had to switch payment methods, the manager was very helpful and quick in making it right. Clean, large, and uncluttered rooms! Breakfast was also great. No issues with that.

Home was new and super clean. Kitchen was well-equipped if we wanted to cook - there were even spices and oils to use. Nice little touches like make up remover towelettes, all light switches labeled, towels super soft, everything you would expect at a hotel but with more room to spread out!

The cleanliness and the location. Stores are very close in distance.
We have stayed there before. It was obvious they are short staffed and struggling to keep up. We experienced the time before this stay that the rooms were not ready by 3:00. We arrived after 5 and got right in, but there were other people waiting in the lobby.I know help is hard to find in these troubling times. Hopefully that will improve.
The bathrooms are poorly lit. It would be nice to see those improved.

It was a wonderful place.
It was a wonderful place. Many places including restaurants are within walking distance. Also, wineries along the Seneca Trail are in proximity to the Hotel. We ate at the Keuka Restaurant (reservations recommended) and had a delicious meal. The service was great.

Bathtub was plugged room wasn't swept from pervious guest there was food along the bedside where comforter hangs view of lake was good and sunset need more fire pits should of got a discount on breakfast since it was just a plain brown bag

Through no fault of the hotel, the town if Penn Yan lacked decent restaurants. The view from our hotel room was beautiful and the location was very convenient for touring the many wineries in the area.

We came specifically for the Windmill.
We came specifically for the Windmill. It was a little disappointing in light of how it looks online but we enjoyed the day. We had dinner at the Keuka - good food, good service. Enjoyed lunch at the Penn Yan diner which deserves it's high rating. Loved the shops on Main Street. It was easy getting around. Would like to return in summer and take advantage of the lakes.

Great historic small town flavor with all the conveniences. Much to see within walking distance. Beautiful lake and park, walking trail, decent restaurants around, boat rentals very nearby. Centrally located if you're looking to tour the Finger Lakes area.
Loved everything. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful in every way. Food was delicious. Rooms and all areas of this beautiful hotel were very clean. Views beautiful. Can not wait to get the opportunity to return. General manager and a woman working front desk the night we stayed on August 8th really were so amazing. Best service I have experienced this far.
The size of the room was great. the pillows & bed were very comfortable. No shortage of hot water in the shower. The microwave in the room is a total bonus! Enjoyed the small table in the room also so we could enjoy a meal without having to sit on the bed like most hotels. Highly recommend.

The hospitality especially with Nigel at the front desk was the best you could ask for! The breakfast was very good, and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies is a nice touch. The beds are comfortable and like we have 4 pillows, first time I've slept well in a hotel.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was great as well. The location was a convenient walk to restaurants. We got more than what we expected. We would recommend it to our friends.
Breakfasts were great! The location is terrific for exploring so much of the Finger Lakes area. Every place we wanted to go was about 30 minutes or less away. Innkeepers so knowledgeable about the area.
The location was the perfect home base for our wine / brewery / cidery tastings. There was a wide variety of great locally owned restaurants within minutes of the property.
