Clean and comfortable and it is 'homey' having your landlord upstairs in the house. Hue (landlord) is very knowledgeable on the area, resturants etc.

The location is great if you need access to USMA. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the main gate and it is an easy drive. There is a very small gym, which is better than no gym, but it is not fancy by any means.

If you need a break from adulting this is the place!
If you need a break from adulting this is the place! Every inch of this place is clean and inviting. Check in was a breeze. The pool, dining area and business center is located right on the ground floor. My room had a beautiful spa tub and shower! I went after a 13 hour shift, room darkening blinds did the trick. There are countless restaurants that deliver. The room also has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. After the spa tub it was all a blur.. Book room 502 you won't be disappointed 💋💋💋

Quaint town with beautiful views of the Hudson.
Quaint town with beautiful views of the Hudson. Ive been here twice for very short stays and theres always something new. Some places I recommend are: Gleasons restaurant, the riverfront park for sunset, the Hudson Creamery for icecream (they close permanently at the end of 2023, go soon!!), & Bruised Apple bookstore (very cool atmosphere and cheap books!). Its a place where you can stop at during a road trip or for a quick weekend get away! Its a breath of fresh air without having to go too far (I’m from Philadelphia). I would definitely return! Also Benmarl Winery is around 45 minutes away from Peekskill, highly recommend doing a wine tasting here!!

Peekskill is beautiful.
Peekskill is beautiful. The view of the Hudson River and the mountains is spectacular. However, transportation was hard to get. I called two cab companies who didn't speak English. I got a Lyft three times. One time I waited an hour. The other two times the wait wasn't as bad. I came there to attend a wedding at The Garrison. If I ever come there again, I won't stay at The Inn on the Hudson, unless I research and find out they've done a major upgrade.

There are more rooms in the back of motel I didn’t go back to see, I had a view of the Hudson River from room, and route 9. If you walk into town, like 5 blocks is convenience store, grocery store, and restaurants.

We were impressed with Peekskill.
We were impressed with Peekskill. Not having been to the area in a very long time I was impressed with it. We enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal downtown, called something like Tomasai's. They were able to seat a large group (10 of us) easily. There was a lot going on downtown (too much loud music for us) and difficulty parking. Our group of multiple ages (children to grandparents) found the park on the river was very, very nice. We would have liked to stay in town longer but had to return home.

Everything was within walking distance.
Everything was within walking distance. We LOVED the 2 restaurants Iron Vine and Touch of Class and will go back to explore others. The Peekskill Brewery can be a bit confusing with its different spaces.
Hue was an amazing host - the welcome pack was great, she thought of everything and the room even had phone charging cables. Immaculately clean and a short walk into town. She went above and beyond when we couldn't raise an Uber, she drove us into NYC to our hotel for an equivalent price and regaled us with hilarious stories on the way.
I felt like home. Just what I needed, peace and quiet place, comfortable bed, everything clean and excellent breakfast. Everyone there was so nice and polite. Definitely I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I had a wonderful view from 419 room.
A relatively small property situated in the outskirts of Peekskill. Due to its size the Inn feels very confined, and there is not much around to do. The food at the hotel restaurant is pretty mediocre and again no real options around it. The staff are nice.
This hotel is beautiful! Every person working at the Abbey Inn was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was exceptional with great food and great service. I would hightly recommend The Abbey Inn!
The hotel was clean and the fitness center, pool and breakfast were all great bonuses. In addition, it was great that the room had a refrigerator and microwave so we could reheat food and keep our drinks cold.
The view was nice. However, the freeway below and long side the hotel was very loud. We knew we were in for it when they gave us ear plugs at reception desk.
