It's a great place to get away from it all and spend time in the beautiful countryside. For those visiting Mount Weather, the location is perfect. That said, for the price I would have expected more of the amenities of a modern hotel such as television and replenishment of bath products. Lack of an elevator is a problem if you have an upper-floor room and bring a lot of luggage or are mobility impaired.

Cute little rural, historic town. Small and beautiful, perfect if you just want to escape the maddening crowds. We just stayed the night so didn't really get to explore as much as I would've liked.
