Holiday Inn Express Cambridge, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Oxford

This Cambridge hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and a cable TV. It features an indoor pool and hot tub and is just 2.6 miles from the Harriet Tubman Museum.

It's Cambridge - not a great variety of interesting hotel options so this was fine. It seemed expensive for what it was. While the rooms were clean, decent size...standard for this chain, the walls were thin (could hear the people next door having loud sex), and the hall doors banged.

Oxford is wonderful to visit in season.

Oxford is wonderful to visit in season. Come when restaurants are open and the ferry is operating (April-Nov). Otherwise it's a LONG way to drive to St. Michael's. Avoid the Robert Morris Inn -- the dirtiest room I've had in all of my 65 years of living. Doc's on the waterfront is a fabulous place to enjoy the sunset - but it is only open during the prime seasons.

A sleepy little town with lots of charm right on the water.

A sleepy little town with lots of charm right on the water. Away from but very accessible to the hustle-bustle of St Michaels, which is just a short drive and/or ferry-boat ride away. Plan to spend one day exploring Oxford, then use it as a base from which to see the region. Morris Inn is a great spot for a romantic, upscale dinner (sit out on the front porch), and Doc's Sunset Grill is one of our favorite on-the-water laid-back eateries.

    Quaint little historic town.

Quaint little historic town. Picturesque neighborhoods that you can bike or walk around through. Very safe. Beach/Water had a TON of jelly fish in the evening though...be aware! Not much to do (few restaurants and virtually no stores). Drive over to St. Micheal is about 20-25 minutes. Ferry over to St. Micheal is $15 each way.

The bed was so uncomfortable we had to flip it 180° and sleep on it sideways. Air conditioner filter was filthy. No TV in the room. Smoke detector continued to chirp so had to refund our stay at 9 o’clock in the evening and drove all night long to get home at 4:30In the morning. Ordered a burger well done and came back to me raw even after sending it back to the kitchen.

Did some antique and book store shopping in this quaint little postcard community. If you like boats, check out the many boatyards in the area. Only regret, we visited after Labor Day, and some restaurants closed or went to off season schedules. The restaurant, Salter's tavern, that is connected to the Robert Morris Inn, was open and not to be missed!

Oxford is pretty much of a ghost town, but very convenient for meeting our cousins in St. Michaels. There is scant shopping in Oxford, but the Treasure Chest is a lovely store - alas, only open till 5. Oxford is quiet and the views are breathtaking. We always eat at the Robert Morris Inn, which is great.

The staff at check in was most pleasant and helpful in directing us to St. Michaels for the wedding we were attending. The public spaces at the Inn were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast at the Tavern was delicious, hot and tasty all 3 mornings we were there- kudos to the Chef. The town of Oxford is lovely in the Spring. We walked Morris Avenue and the azaela's, tulips and roses among other beautiful flowers were just bursting. The Tred Avon river views were breathtaking.

This is a lovely place in an attractive village right on the Chesapeake, with its own long, narrow sand beach beyond well maintained grass lawns. For an exceptionally quiet vacation or honeymoon, it is ideal, what hoteliers used to refer to as a spot for Newlyweds and Nearly Deads, whose quiet solitude would be enjoyed. While it is no longer a bed and breakfast, the inn up the street, they formerly owned, is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and Sunday brunch

The Robert Morris Inn has a nice location on the water in the charming city of Oxford, MD. The inn, though, no longer has some of property it previously owned, so the grassy, waterfront area with relaxing Adirondack chairs now belongs to Sandaway, an inn down the street. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was quite good, and the crab cakes at dinner were excellent.

Perfect location in Oxford. Large room, had everything we needed. No breakfast, but snack bag appreciated. Water view, could see boats and oystermen at work from nice screened porch and lawn chairs on spacious lawn. Robert Morris Inn very convenient for good breakfasts and dinners. Contactless checkin and checkout worked well. Office available if you have questions.

The Inn is historic and located right by the historic Oxford Bellvue Ferry. We stayed in the cottage and it was cozy with a nice view of the water. It had a Kuerig coffee maker and the bed was comfortable. We love the town of Oxford and it's convenience to the Ferry for trips to St. Michaels.
