Wonderful location. Beautiful view from the room. The room was comfortable and well-appointed.

Room was great. Did not have balcony but still had floor to ceiling window with balcony rail. Liked that bathroom had individual switches so that we did not have to listen to noisy fan while using bathroom. Breakfast was also quite good and staff at reception very friendly.
We were able to walk across the street to the Ferry to Vinalhaven. Went without the car. Wonderful trip, passing the Rockland Breakwater and Owl Head Lighthouse and lots of little islands. Very reasonable. $12.50 p.p. Round trip.

A good stay for the value. Rooms and furniture are a bit older but spacious and well appointed with all the necessities, including a Keurig. Private front and back decks would be lovely in the summer. I didn’t have time for breakfast but it looked thoughtfully put together.

What a beautiful home, the gardens were lovely. It was fun having pie to eat when we got there late! The room was nice and very clean, the bathroom was very nice as well (even more than the room!)

The cottage was private considering it was right on the main road. Very convenient to everything in the area. Beautiful sunrises and the evening deck was pleasant with the ocean views. Very light and airy with all the windows. Very comfortable furnishings. We’d definitely rent it again!
