Easy check in process, was very nice and quiet and we enjoyed the views of the community lake. The bed was comfy the bathroom was nice and clean, overall a very nice stay.

While a franchise hotel, the owners had clearly taken some effort to add personal touches. The addition of simple things like pictures on the wall made this feel less like a bland, corporate place.
The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was pretty good for the hotel level.

Room was nicer than expected. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Plenty of eateries close by.
Facing the beachfront in Walnut Grove, Snug Harbor RV Park & Marina features a garden and a terrace. The property has a private beach area, as well as barbecue facilities.

We were making a trip back to the area where we grew up and been away from for 50 years so we had a connection to the area. We enjoyed seeing the "sights" and how things had changed. Otherwise, I don't think the area would be a vacation draw, except if you were a boater or fisherman.

Front desk could be more friendly and accomodating. I had to go down on second day because key was deactivated. Agent at front took key without apology for inconvenience and reset.
Lots of noise late at night. No visible security on property.
