Nothing. It was the worst experience ever. They accused us of smoking in the room. My wife and I do not smoke. Never even spoke to us and had the police escort us off the property. So embarrassing. On mother's Day. This place could sink in a hole for all I care.

Our phone to call the main desk did not work.

Our phone to call the main desk did not work. We had no wash cloths or towels in our room for our night stay. The hot water did not work well. In the morning a person from staff opened our hotel room door and almost came in while we were in the bed. When ask who try to come into our room. Staff stated he thought room was empty.

Our trip was a quick overnight that was booked to the Hudson...

Our trip was a quick overnight that was booked to the Hudson Valley area with friends. The hotel was acceptable from an esthetics point of view. Our main issue was with the staff. Upon arrival and confirmed booking with Booking .com, I was told one of the two rooms we reserved was not available. That got settled and upon check out I was told a receipt would be emailed to me. I never got it. 20 days later when my credit card statement came, I was charged approximately $36.00 more for the room and 2- $3.00 icecreams were charged at $35.40. Two phone calls to the hotel to inquire and resolve the issue, were met with extremely incompetent, uninformed staff . Booking .com is now handling the issue. Needless to say, We will not be staying at this hotel again.

We stayed at The Super 8 Wyndham - This place was dreadful, the bed linen was stained and full of holes, there was a terrible smell throughout the corridors and the bedrooms. Breakfast was plastic wrapped everything - a cereal bar, a muffin and a small pot of peaches with no choices. Tepid coffee and tea were available. Best part was the iced water!! Stay anywhere else. We passed through Newburgh from Stewart Airport to NY.

The hotel must have been neglected for some time.

The hotel must have been neglected for some time. Exterior concrete steps were chipping. Main lobby and information desk was hardly noticeable. The Dining room where we were told continental breakfast will be served was in desperate need of remodeling. Room furniture and decor was outdated. We had to ask for soaps at the bathroom and toilet lid was loose and kept sliding to the floor. We could not ask for another room because we had to stay for only one night.

    Please refund our money.

Please refund our money. The place was super-rundown and super-sketchy. It felt like an active crime scene. We did not feel safe. Instead of staying there, we drove 4 hours back to Pennsylvania. Another guest found syringes under the bed. The place should be shut down.

    Didn’t stop to see Newburgh.

Didn’t stop to see Newburgh. We stopped because we couldn’t make it home that night and needed a room for the night. We did eat at Texas Longhorn and had a wonderful meal. Especially for the price. This was near the Ramada. One negative thing I will say about Newburgh is we could have walked to the restaurant but No sidewalk. So we had to drive.

Great communication from the hosts, quick response. No issues during our stay. Location was good with a nice view of the river, not a bad walk to downtown coffee shops. Lots of little touches we liked like chargers in all the rooms, coffee pods and real creamer, Brita water filter, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers. Comfy beds and well equipped kitchen with lots of mugs and cups for 4 people.

The front desk staff was super helpful went out of his way to make sure we had a quiet location in the hotel, suggested restaurants and those that offered takeout, helping with parking tips. Just wow. Great customer service better than most pricey hotels !! Bed was as comfortable than most pricey hotels. Air conditioner worked and was quiet. Room was super clean!

Coffee was delicious. Although the hotel is older and has been refurbished, I thought it was done well. thoughtful upgrades in bathroom and overall in hotel. Excellent value for the money

The hotel is quite near to New York Stewart International Airport. Although accomodation was pretty cheap and dated, we got breakfast with some coffee, tea and granola bar. I wouldn't expect that for the money we paid. Also the housekeeping did a really good job, as the room was cleaned well.

Stayed for two nights had a connecting flight. The hotel leading up lobby and the hallway had a stale smell. The rooms were basic and clean. The bedding were worn out the fabric had bubbles on the it. Makes the bed feels rough as if there is crumbs in the bed

The only god thing about this place is the guy who works the front desk. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and it is not his fault that the condition of this hotel is completely unacceptable. I hope he can find a better place to work at.
