My only other comment would be if they could provide a golf cart or means of transportation to the secondary house. It is very difficult to get your luggage to the secondary house after check in.

The Atlantic Inn exceeded our expectations across the board- from the quiet and convenient location to the beautiful grounds to the deliciously prepared food and drink. Wonderful walking around Block Island ! Beautiful views, lovely gardens ,great architecture, dozens of restaurants and unique shops and galleries. The visitors guide maps direct you to routes to easily see the many highlights . I felt like a I was on a vacation in another country- so rich with historical buildings, amazing vistas over the bluffs , fabulous ocean views , the wind farms and lush flowering plants everywhere.

A beautiful island to visit, even in November after most lodging and restaurants are closed for the season. Bring your walking shoes or bikes and enjoy the many lovely views of the ocean and quiet scrub woodland walks. The Barn restaurant just uphill from the Inn at Spring House served fabulous food. McAloon's Pub and the Island Pub were also fun for lunch. When we return, we will re-book at the Inn at Spring House - beautiful, modern accommodation, with a nice balcony to eat our picnic lunch on and view the ocean, after arriving from the ferry. And all the animals at Abram's farm near the Inn, including little kangaroos and camels, were a delight. Adolfo's breakfast omelet with spinach, zucchini and fresh goat cheese was fabulous. Plus, the bike rack in the back yard was a nice secure place to leave our bikes.

This harbor town with large ferry terminal, is always bustling. A nice assortment of hotels, restaurants, and shops greet the arriving visitors. Very walkable with many sidewalks and prominent crosswalks. Cars were always considerate of walkers/bikers. Beautiful Victorian-style architecture was prominent throughout the town.

Our trip was to celebrate our 15th Anniversary and the hospitality at the Old Town Inn made it a fabulous trip. Neal and Mike were welcoming host who served a hot breakfast every morning and served hot baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The great room was comfy and inviting for our evenings. Due to unfavorable weather we had to leave early and I was met going out the door by Neal with hot breakfast sandwiches. muffins, coffee and juice for our ferry trip. So thoughtful, I would just like to thank Neal and Mike for making our trip a memorable one.

Block Island is a beautiful place that still retains some of its remote and rustic feel. It has become disappointingly built up over that past years interrupting the open vistas that had in the past been a hallmark of the place. The locals understand the economic importance of tourists but tolerate them only reluctantly. One gets the impression that if not for the money left behind, tourists would be entirely unwelcome.

Block Island is small enough to travel the entire island by scooter. We each rented scooters and we had the best time. Highly recommend doing that. People who live there were very pleasant and it was not all that crowded.
The location is perfect. Far enough away from the Main Street noise but close enough to walk to and enjoy the festivities. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the entire property as I was going to homes on the island but it look wonderful, all the chairs facing the water. The Spring House being right next to Rose is an added bonus. Rose Farm is a wonderful place and I look forward to my next visit.
Very clean and comfortable. Nice glass shower. Private deck with a sea view..watched the sun set..beautiful. Breakfast was great..chef made eggs any way, bacon and homefries and yummy pecan crousants. Enjoyed our meal at the main resturante at spring house..top notch! Thank you to all staff for making our anniversary stay very special!
What a fantastic weekend in Block Island! Neal was an incredible host. The location and room was incredible peaceful and I woke up to delicious beverages and happy faces. The entire property was decorated for Halloween which added to the whole spirit and fresh flowers everywhere. Just phenomenal.
We have stayed at the National in the past and knew what to expect. It is right across from the ferry in Old Harbor, so very convenient location. The hotel and location and are perfect. Firepits and music in the backyard of hotel was very nice. Food was good. Beautiful view from deck.
House is great, location is super. It is more of a small hotel than a B&B - the owners don’t live there it seems and the house has been prepared for guests and not for a family to live there.
