The Receptionist was superb and helpful. Very Thankful for her as she made everything very easy. Bedroom was a perfect perfect size, bed was big, the look of everything was lovely. Would happily stay here again and probably will be each time I come to see my partner. So will do longer than a 1 night stay next time

New Bern was a lovely little town to visit.
New Bern was a lovely little town to visit. We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Doubletree. We had a lovely balcony that overlooked the river and the boat Harbor. Everyone we met in the town was so gracious and friendly. There are quite a few quaint little shops to visit. We were able to find lots of delicious food within blocks of our hotel room. it was lovely to park our car in the hotel parking lot and not have to get in it to go anywhere for two days. Everything was just in walking distance.

There are lots of things to do. Great places of history to visit like Tryon Palace. Great shopping and good restaurants. Morgan's, Lawsons on the Creek, Cypress Hall and Bakers Kitchen served delicious meals. Great parking on the street and public parking.

New Bern was a great town.
New Bern was a great town. Lots of history and you could walk to just about all attractions. Lots of restaurants and the people were friendly. We went in November so it wasn’t too crowded and it was easy to get around. Lots of free parking.

Loved the small-town charm and feel of the city.
Loved the small-town charm and feel of the city. There are tourist attractions, like Tryon Palace, but it's also a great city to just walk around and explore the neighborhoods and architecture, a lot of which is original to the city. The people are friendly and it's not overly congested like a lot of "beach" towns (the closest beach is 30 miles away). The food is hit and miss, so make sure you check out the sanitation grades before you dine because there are surprisingly quite a few establishments with a B grade.

New Bern is a friendly, active town with lots of different things to do. Good restaurants, great places to stay, numerous activities, close to beaches. History, culture and fun all in one beautiful location.
Loved that the cabin was "off the beaten path" but only about a 10-minute drive to downtown New Bern. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We liked that there were 2 other cabins close by, but not close enough to be intrusive. There is also a communal picnic table and fire pit for all 3 cabins. WiFi was great and there is streaming TV via Roku, no cable/satellite. You can also log into your own streaming accounts if you'd like. Pet friendly was also a plus.
Hanna House proved to be an ideal place for us to stopover on the trip down the east coast. The B&B was easy to find, parking was possible on the drive and it was a very short walk into town for an evening meal.
The room was very comfortable and the choice of homemade breakfast options was amazing. Our picks were very tasty.
We were able to leave our car at the B&B for a few hours so we could explore New Bern, before heading on our way.
The hotel was only a few blocks away from downtown New Bern. We were able to walk and enjoy our evenings without the bother of finding parking. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We did not have food there but purchased a bottle of wine from the bar, and the barista was happy to open the bottle and supplied two glasses for our rooms so we could enjoy the balcony. Beds were very comfortable and ample space in the room.
The Bed&Breakfast was located in central New Bern and we loved the host and the outstanding breakfast. The host was so friendly and gave us recommandations for dinner. We were able to let our car at the building the next day, so we could walk around the town without looking for a parking space for our car. New Bern was a stopover on our way to the Outer Banks and was perfect for one night.
A great place to stay. Our expectations were exceeded!
The historic inn is very well maintained. The innkeeper Linda is a lovely person. She prepares a fantastic breakfast, the best we ever had in the US!
There is a pub next door. The location is perfect for exploring historic New Bern by step.
If we return to New Bern we'll definitely stay in Meadows Inn.
The gentleman working the front desk was hauling, as he was alone, yet still personable and helpful. The continental breakfast was well maintained. I loved the location, as it was not packed in with all the other places downtown on the waterfront. We watched the sunset from a little private beach area.
The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything that I was interested in and Linda is a gem. Her and her staff made everyone feel special. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I will be back the next time I visit New Bern.
Convenient to restaurants and close in -but not too close-to the downtown area We e given a card to request the usual hotel “stuff” if needed, which was most appreciated The room was clean, the bed comfy and everything worked!
The most attractive features of this hotel are that it's very dog friendly and within a short drive of the historic downtown of New Bern. It offers a water view and a large grassy area for dog walking.
Beautiful home with a ton of character, friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Our room was so inviting, comfortable and very clean. Location is very walkable to everything New Bern has to offer.
I am sorry that I just sent a review that I meant to send about another hotel. Please erase that one. The staff in New Bern was so friendly and helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.
Great place, well designed with plenty of space, you have everything you need for a quiet getaway. Not far from New Bern downtown. The owner is super nice. Will come back for sure!
With the kitchen that was provided when we entered the room, we managed to have a hearty breakfast. This was the first hotel that had a kitchen so it was very convenient.
Breakfast was better than many hotels that provide this amenity. Choices included eggs, bacon, sauteed potatoes, waffles, fresh fruit, and a variety of juices.
Close to historic New Bern and not too far from the beach. Brunch was great - variety each day and included lots of choices - included in price of room.
