We have Family and Friends in Morgan City. Its always good to be around people who care and are very loving with great character. The best places are Duffy's Gas Station where you might see Troy Landry known and famous on the History Channel for" Swamp People" and some family members. Next is the Landry's Restaurant they have great food and great service. Going out on a boat into the Bayou is fun also learning the ways of how people make a living. You also see real live gators and snakes, birds etc while in the swamp. There is lots to do there.

We were there for the shrimp and petroleum festival..we have been attending this for past three years and we stay at motel six every time.. we have always enjoyed it here as it is close to the festivities and close to places to eat as well. We enjoy eating at King China buffet,they have some really good crabs and boiled shrimp on their buffet at night. Looking forward to our next stay!!
The breakfast was very good and there was a variety to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed.
