I didn’t eat breakfast I wasn’t able to get up early enough to eat breakfast but the bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. The room was big and I love that it had a full kitchen if I decided to cook anything. So everything was great.

The Bush family homestead was interesting. The nature preserve was nice but the loud highway traffic sort of ruined the experience. The sand dunes were great. It was so pretty to see....just needed an ocean or lake to go with it !!! Connections Church was awesome.

Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit.
Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit. It is more ''pass by'' town to spend the night and continue with the trip. Theer are few nice restaurants and bars downtown but overall, this town is not cheap so if you go out for a dinner, be ready to pay prices like you are in any major USA city.

I stayed at the Grand Texan Hotel and Convention Center for one night before I went back to work. It was a terrible experience. PLEASE don't waste your money. The bed and pillow were dirty. The towels were dirty. The soap was even dirty. The coffee was expired four years ago. They advertised a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. That was non existent. They also advertised a pool. It was out of order. After I reached out to the hotel to let them know about my experience, they refused to make it right. Again, PLEASE don't waste your money.

We visited children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving.
We visited children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. There is not a whole lot to do, but we came to spend time with family and did not seek much outside of spending time with family. Getting around was easy and we visited the Cinergy Movie theater and that was a blast for the grandchildren. We enjoyed our stay and visit. It really depends on what you like to do.

We were just passing through Midland with our puppy aboard on an extended trip west. The Home2 Suites are a blessing for travelers with pets, easy access to rooms, fast elevators and nice green spaces to walk your dog. The rooms are large, with good wifi and television plus a regular refrigerator/freezer.
Absolutely everything. I love that Hilton has entered this market. If Spark by Hilton Midland South is any example, they should be extremely successful. Hostesses were very friendly. We received a “goodie bag” of two bottles of water and a snack. The room was immaculate and very well cared for. The bed was superb. And the price, well, the price was amazing. Hilton quality shone through. We will definitely seek out Spark hotels when we travel again.
I liked the location of this hotel. The room was pretty clean. There was a mini fridge in our room. The front desk people were nice. It’s pretty close to HEB and sams club. There’s a park our kids enjoyed playing at across the street. The parking lot felt safe, there weren’t any shady people walking around so that was a plus. It’s right off the highway.
Front desk staff over night was rude my t.v did not work I called front desk she said no refund no change room and if I did not like room then leave and will give money back next day wen she talks to manager. And said maintenance was not there. The arad lady in midland rude unprofessional never will I recommend nobody go there. If u do u crazy,
It's a new hotel with a suitable list of amenities. The breakfast is really good (eggs/bacon/sausage/cereal/juice/milk/bread/yogurt/fruit and others). The room was also well equipped with coffee and a fridge. And the location is just off I-20, so its an easy hop on and off. The fitness center was small but adequate.
The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. I did not expect the room to be "home" like, with tables and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and welcomed us. The location was perfect for what we needed to do in Midland. The location is close to businesses and restaurants and is easy to find and drive to.
The best hotel I have stayed at in a long time! The front desk staff ( Desiree) was very helpful and had a smile on her face every time I spoke with her! The beds were very comfortable. The pool table in the lobby kept my family and I entertained for hours.
The hotel was close to where I needed to go. The breakfast was okay...I was expecting the breakfast to be so much better than it was.
On line the hotel was built up to be better than it was, I was disappointed as soon as I got there.
The pool was down I changed rooms due to bugs in my room and was charged a second deposit due to a blood stain on the sheet when my wife wasn’t on her period. The sheets we slept on where yellow like somebody urinated all over them
There was no breakfast, but location is great. The indoor pool with amazing slide and large hot tube was what we came for at this hotel. My grand children and I had the best time together at the pool!
