OYO when booked said it was pet friendly - okay for service dog /but not the other dog -charged $15.00 x 4=$60.00 .nights we were booked for. There was no breakfast with stay. the tub was very slippery spouse had to put towel down bottom of tub / not to be slippery. the mattress was to hard on back --says wife. pillows & blankets helped.

Our visit was fine.
Our visit was fine. We were unable to have a tournament due to weather. Ended up playing in near by towns. Disappointed that the city did not allow us to play our tournament and changed the rules of the game. The changed rules really ended up having a huge impact on the outcomes of the games.

Beautiful city, excellent weather. Locals very friendly, Food superb, for all gustos and taste. Shopping excellent, you can drive or fly in. Beach a few miles away. Border to Mexico in a few minutes. Charming and beautiful you can relax and enjoy your day.

Before paying ask to check out the room for odors/cleanliness. Observe the pool area for sanitation concerns, glass being at the pool area. Breakfast was provided but cold and toaster broken.
I would not recommend this Hotel if sanitary standards are your priority.

I go there from my home in Northern Mexico to shop for things I can't get at home or for a cheap escape from work. Also my shipping receiver is there so sometimes I pick up my mail rather than paying to have it shipped to Mexico.

The City of McAllen has so many things to offer.
The City of McAllen has so many things to offer. It has many nice parks & attractions to visit with the family, it has many shopping centers, including a very nice mall, and lots of restaurants offering a variety of ethnic foods.
I expected the Texas inn to be close to the mall because that's what the name says in booking and in the descriptions. When I got to the hotel, there is nothing but a gas station nearby, I asked him to change hotels to the other Texas Inn (in the center) he told me that I cannot change to the other Texas Inn (in the center of the city) because I booked through booking and I had to stay there. I didn't like that. But I liked the cleanliness of the hotel.
This property is great, perfect location, and close to everything that I needed. The best part is the staff! They were exceptional, super welcoming, and very kind. If this is the tone for Mcallen then this town is the friendiest in America! Such a good start to my trip. A big thank you to everyone who works here. You made my stay extra special!
Nothing it was one of the worst days that I've ever had to deal with the carpet was full of dirt the room had mold the AC didn't work the TV didn't work and the bathroom smells like sewer we only stayed one night we couldn't get a refund back for the two nights we didn't stay there we ended up booking a different hotel for safety
We have stayed at many hotels in McAllen over the years and this could be the best. Rooms are spacious and pristine. It has the best facilities and the breakfast offers eggs a la carte. It even has three elevators, which might be a first in this city!
There was no breakfast, but in COVID times I didn't expect one. I loved the location near places I wanted to visit. The bed was comfy. The living room TV was huge and worked great. I loved having a desk at the right height. I loved the atrium/lobby.
There us a complimentary shuttle bus to/from airport, even at midnight. You must arrange it with the hotel (which can prove a bit tricky, as they don’t always receive the messages sent via Booking .com). The breakfast is pretty good too!
I keep coming to this hotel every chance we get to visit McAllen

This room reminded me of a small town home it was really nice
Breakfast was good, Parkin too. But it makes this hotel superb was Alma Cavazos in the front desk. She was kindly aware of every guests request. Not just me but everyone. She’s efficient always smiling!
Everything was excellent and comfortable. The location was near the main shopping centers and with good parking spots. Also, the interior design was very trendy and not like your typical Texas hotel.
The location was perfect. Close to the airport. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were pleased that à restaurant and bar were at the hotel. Great food and reasonable prices.
