The breakfast wasn't great or appeasing to the eye, but I we did go and eat out. The breakfast could have had the homemade bread biscuits, real farm bacon. Grits and real eggs and apricot preserves.

The location was convenient to the family I was visiting.
Restaurant food and staff were great. Parking was also a good feature. Everything else was a bit subpar (ants in my room, musty smell) to other Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed in. It would not be my choice to stay here again.

JUST LIKE I SAID BEFORE I HAD ONE MORE NIGHT IN MATTERSON SO I CHECKED INTO A MOTEL 6 MY FAMILY WAS NOT WITH ME SO DID AND IT WAS THE BEST SLEEP,REST CLEAN VERY CLEAN HOTEL THANK YOU MOTEL 6 FOR KEEPING THE LIGHT ON FOR US\ MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED ONE WEEKEND THIS SUMMER IF ALL GOES OK WITH NEW VIRUS OUTBREAK,WELL PROBABLY CHECK IN ONE HAVING A MILITARY BACKGROUND WE KNOW ALL BOUT MOTEL 6 BACK IN THE DAY MOTEL 6 WAS OUR HILTON

The area is nice but the Hotel needs some serious upgrading and deep cleaning. The elevator stopped between floors on me Twice. The handle on the door to my first room was broken. The bathroom shower curtain was old,
dirty, and rigged up to fit the rod. The ice machine was nasty. The carpeting was utterly ridiculous; just filthy. Overall this hotel was not up to par for the rate they are charging.

The only issue I had was a lady at the front desk wasn't a good listener she was too busy making her point she wasn't listening when i told her they double charged me. I didn't get angry I thanked her and waited for her to leave asked someone else and they saw the error and corrected the situation. Other than that i enjoyed everything about the hotel.

Matteson the city was amazing.
Matteson the city was amazing. The staff at the comfort inn was horrible and the room was not satisfactory. We had several issues that the staff refused to address and correct for us, the paying customer.
Clean enough, friendly and smiling receptionists, satisfactory (hot) breakfast... loved those big shampoı and gel containers at the tub (hate those little bottles in other hotels)... optimal regarding its price and value it offers...
It says free breakfast in the confirmation, when you arrive at the hotel there is a paper that says there are not breakfast due to Covid-19, but in Chicago they removed all restrictions on 06/11/2021 and there is not even coffee.
The hotel was great for a 2 night stay near some main Chicago suburbs. 25 mins from Downtown, Chicago. Great location, around all main coffee and food chains, Wallmart and other grocery stores nearby.
Loved Bar Louie in the hotel. Was a nice location, near the event we went to. Have always had a good experience at Holiday Inn, but this location was a disappointment.
