We stayed at quite a few different low cost motels and hotels in the past 3 weeks. This one was the best of all of them. We had a comfortable restful night in this clean hotel. 6 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We will be back again.

Angela the General Manager was great. She helped us move in sooner than our arrival time as we had a toddler with us. The front desk person (lady with pixie braid) was not quite willing to allow us to check in yet. Ot was good customer service and a good teaching point.
Jessica helped in the breakfast area and she was excellent. She recommended certain items and even gave us to go items. My 23 month old grand daughter actually went up to herr today before we left and said her name and gave her a high give without prompting.
The pool was clean and great (I will speak about adjusting things there in the next box.)
Service staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

Unbelievable that the place is pet friendly when there’s no indication of that in the rooms. Properly cleaned and fresh.

The Ohio State Reformatory was our destination and it didn't disappoint. So much history. Our tour guide was outstanding. He told great stories and answered every question with ease. We ate dinner at Fast Eddie's and it was fantastic. Huge portions and delicious food.

Our room in this motel was dirty, with towels laying everywhere & linens laying all over the bed. It was nasty. The hallway was extremely malodorous. We requested a refund of our money but were refused. We then requested a cancelation & were refused. We dropped our keys on the desk and walked out extremely unsatisfied. We had to sleep in our car. It was uncomfortable but it was clean. This motel needs to be leveled.

I go to Mansfield once a year for business. I really am not able to get out and visit. I do frequent the restaurants in the area and they are just fine. Cracker Barrele, El Charritos, Bob Evans were all good.

Prior to coming to Mansfield, I had a negative look on the town. As a p.o.c I was scared to visit or be out at certain times, but several residents informed me that there was nothing to be afraid of and the citizens were all very nice. There are certain areas that are more populated than others with people and stores. I didn't have an opportunity to see the entire town, so I do not know what there is to do in terms of entertainment in the actual town but it is close to several towns with attractions. Getting around is easy IF you have a car. There seems to be no public transportation and Lyft & Uber is pretty non-existent in the town.

This place is a dump. It looks nothing like the pictures on booking.com. It was so bad I got my money back and went and got a different hotel and if they wouldn't have given me my money back I would have slept in my car. If I was booking.com I would not have them as an option on my site. If I would have known that I could post pictures on here I would have taken some!
The hotel was as described, clean, updated room with nice bed.
The furniture was somewhat out of date but it was not a problem.
Disappointed that the pool and hot tub was closed for renovation.
Breakfast was OK. Packaged items but fresh fruit.

For an older hotel it was truly upgraded with everything in the room and bath. Very modern, clean, and quality service! A bonus was Walmart behind the hotel so we could shop for tide pod to do laundry in the hotel. Great location!

Heard it was a good hotel for the money and it really is. Was old but not a dive which kind of added to the charm. Everything was very clean, staff was friendly. Bed itself was quite comfortable.
Friendly staff, clean room and the breakfast is pretty amazing. Killer banana nut muffins and the coffee is actually good. Which is usually not the case at most hotels.
Staff and owner and his wife were so wonderful - their welcomeness, friendliness, attention detail and the overall cleanliness of the hotel made staying here stand out!
Location for our event. Nostalgic memory of our 25 anniversary there in 1992. Hotel needs to little things and clean up outside area. Love the theatre.
