The employees were really nice, as I head a injury I needed to cool my leg regularly so they changed the room to a closer one to the ice machine. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you need. Just down to the street is a Trolley station and over street is the Laundromat, some nice restaurants and a bakery.
For PCT Hikers there is also a hiker box in the office.

Breakfast is good. Thank god the windows opened, because our AC didn't work and even when it was set (yes, we made sure it was set correctly), the heat kept turning on. The showers had hot water, and the towels didn't smell weird -- so that goes in the win column.
Located in Mammoth Lakes in the Inyo National Forest, the Mammoth Creek Inn offers a shuttle seasonal service to Mammoth/Yosemite Airport. Guests can relax in the on-site sauna.

Located very close to chairlift in a quiet location wth the spa pool looking up the mountain. located a short drive to town and restaurants.
There staff were extremely helpful and the 'pick and go' breakfast was exactly that - picked up and taken. Stood us in good stead till a late lunch.

It did not feel like a hostel, more like someone’s home. Location was perfect walking distance from the village. Plenty of free parking and quiet.
Let us be your springboard to adventure in the mountains! The Cinnamon Bear Inn was built for exploring the incredible lakes, trails, and mountains of the Eastern Sierra.

Room was fine, basic. But amenities and service was good. The place was cleaned well, but the permanent stains were not removed. For example in the shower.
The shower head was great, mattress was really comfortable. Sheets were clean and high quality.
Was a perfect location for mammoth lakes, as well as Yosemite. Breakfast was always very wholesome.

very comfortable and nice apartment, clean and well equipped, staff is very friendly, nice location
Beautiful mountains and lakes. Perfect for a whole range of outdoor activities. Town itself has some good restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, accommodations that are centrally located. No sprawl or congestion.

I don't ski, so visiting here on the shoulder season is great. There are many hikes and stunning natural beauty all around. We did some easy hikes around Lake Mary and the Twin Lakes area. I hadn't adequately accounted for the effect that the elevation (8400') would have on my (old) cardio system, so we stuck with hikes that were relatively short and level. Since I had my small dog with me, we were somewhat limited in restaurants, but Mammoth Brewing had both great beer and good food (recommend the Birria Taco).

Mammoth looks good in the pictures, but the restaurant choices are very limited, and there are no Doordash type services available anywhere on the mountain. You literally couldn't even get a pizza delivered. If you're traveling with a family, I would go somewhere else - this is not a family friendly place.

Mammoth Lakes is mainly for skiers during the winter but could be a great destination for families with kids too. There's a lot of areas where you can just pull over and sled with your kid. Wooly's Adventure Summit also just opened their Mountain Coaster ride which is so much fun.
One thing I would highly recommend is booking your attraction tickets in advance because the line to buy the tickets can be very long.

Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes.
Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes. This one was not familiar to me, and the one with which I was familiar is no longer a Best Western property.
The room itself was fine, clean, albeit a little odd in it's elongated arrangement (kind of like a train car).
However, the lack of an elevator, the many flights of stairs to access 2nd floor room, the creaky locks on the (apparently) old door fixtures (I had to ask for help to get OUT of the hotel!to the rear parking lot), and the general appearance, arrangement of the place are why I chose 3 stars.
The breakfast room and its attendant were fine. The housekeepers were cheerful and helpful.
Oh sorry! I thought this was a review for Best Western!!!

In Summer, Mammoth has a lot to offer if you are into trails, seeing stunning lakes and waterfalls, doing various adrenalin activities like mountain biking or wakeboarding.
We ran out of time to do everything (I would've liked to have gone to Brodie), but can recommend the trail from Devils Postpile to Rainbow Falls which was truly spectacular. It's also worth viewing the lakes at sunrise or sunset to get a different perspective of the landscape. Finally, a trip on the gondola was good fun with great hot chocolates served at the summit!
It was a tiny room with exactly what it needed to have- a comfortable bed, a microwave, and a shower. More U.S. hotel rooms should be like this- our national obsession with "bigger means better" has always been tiresome and kinda embarrassing. Rooms this size are yet another lesson we should take from the rest of the world. It was pretty ludicrously expensive ($130+) for what it was, but that's Mammoth Lakes for you- it was the cheapest room we could find on a Monday night.
This hotel is very stylish with beautiful and spacious rooms, with a fantastic and well equipped kitchen, lovely lounge area, scenic balcony and comfortable bedroom. Mammoth Lakes is a VERY expensive area so Juniper Springs Resort is reasonably priced for its location. Staff are very friendly and helpful with great inside knowledge. On-site pool & BBQs for guests to use were a nice touch.
Location was exceptional. Easy to access the public transit, walk to the village for food/drinks, and easy access to the mountain. All parking is in a garage so transporting gear to/from the room was easy. The hotel has a surprisingly good restaurant (try the poutine). Really enjoyed the staff and the amenities. Bonus is that there are 2 separate hot tubs.
The hotel is located at 5 minutes drive from the village, the center of Mammoth Lake. Rooms are nice, maybe a bit small, but good enough for two adults and a girl. The personnel is always available in case of any needs. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at breakfast, with few tables that can be shared with other guests, and a really nice fireplace.
We booked a one-bedroom suite and it was quite comfortable for our family. View from the room was amazing from the high floors. The facilities were really great. Overall, a great experience and the perfect place to stay if you are planning to stay at Mammoth Lakes.
Staff was very helpful. Right by ski slope which has loads of mountain biking and other activities in the summer. It has good public transport options. Buses into town and reds meadow run right from the hotel as well as Yarts which takes you to Yosemite.
The room was unusually large for the hotel. In a way, it resembled a small apartment. The location was great. The hotel was located on the main street of the town. Everything we needed was very close around.
Room was clean and tidy and had a kettle which was a nice change as most US hotels don't have them. Shower was large and had good water pressure
lots of space to park and it was free
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and we didn't have any issues. It was a nice quiet place to stay in a good location. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Amazing place! Such a beautiful, peaceful place with cozy rooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had such a great stay in Mammoth Lakes, great surroundings and peacefulness.
The staff were really nice. We liked the proximity to restaurants and tap rooms. We had a good night's sleep. The hotel room had everything we needed. Bed was comfy.
