This place was exceptional. Completely serene and a perfecting ending to our very long roadtrip. We only spent the night here because we were just passing through and wanted to wake up and have breakfast with our grandparents who live close by, but this will be the only place we stay from now on when we come visit. It was perfect and my kids loved the bedrooms.

The room was perfect but the shower didn’t work like it was supposed to had plenty of hot water shower head didn’t work ☹️at first the tv didn’t work but figured it out after talking to the owner but the shower was the down fall. This is the first time we have stayed and this happened

Cedar creek lake is a really fun lake.
Cedar creek lake is a really fun lake. I am definitely coming back again. However, I do not intend to stay at the Country Side Inn again. It's old, smoky and has bugs in the bathroom.
I will drive further to the lake and pay more to stay in a nicer hotel.
We ate dinner at Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by there. The food is delicious!
The room was clean and the hotel was not expensive. I also felt secure in my room and there was a wide, well-lit parking lot. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked well, refrigerator, good water pressure, no noise from neighbors. It did not appear that there were any long-term guests.
I had stayed at this location before and knew what to expect. The location was great. I had traveled to meet a friend who resides in Malakoff and the location met my needs. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
