Chautauqua Resort & Conference Center, hotel in Long Beach

Located in Long Beach, 500 metres from Long Beach, Chautauqua Resort & Conference Center features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

I liked the attitude of the staff. We were in bad weather and freezing rain. I liked that as soon as the announcement about bad weather and the closure of a number of roads due to ice passed, the hotel wrote to us and called us with an offer to cancel the reservation free of charge and a warning about such a situation. I also liked that, just in case, there was an additional heater in the room in case it was needed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, despite the fact that in the city itself not all cafes were open due to the weather. From the unexpected, I liked that near the drink machines opposite the pool there was a piano in the same space. This is just great for children who need daily activities.

The Breakers Long Beach, hotel in Long Beach

Featuring an indoor swimming pool and a private beach area, The Breakers is located in Long Beach, Washington.

The Queen Sized bed was a bit uncomfortable, it was a pretty worn out mattress. When moving around pillows I found hair in the sheets. It was a bit disturbing. I wish there were king bed options and the outdoor hot tub was open. That was the reason why I booked there.

There were great places to eat and shop.

There were great places to eat and shop. Flying kites on the beach is very relaxing. We ate at Chico's Pizza. Love the then crust on their pizzas. We always eat there at least once while in town. Drop Anchor was recommended by the locals and it did not disappoint. The oyster shooters were wonderful! Had the prawns and lobster tail and it was delicious. (Not a puny lobster tail either!)

Our favorite beach town to visit.

Our favorite beach town to visit. Several beach accesses, boardwalk. We love the shops Marsh's free Museum is a great place. Food is good pretty much anywhere. Love Benson^s for breakfast. Scoopers for ice cream. Lots to do and see, 2 lighthouses, kite museum, Funland games, and don't forget go-carts and horseback riding on the beach.

Really, we could have seen the beach and the town's main drag in two days, rather than the three we planned. Families with little kids would enjoy the wide stretch of beach, but as an older couple, we'll only book two nights in the future. Don't miss Marsh's Free Museum, the quirkiest souvenir shop ever! Plenty of good dining options.

I have been coming to Long Beach since I was five years old and I am now 76. It has been a place of memories of such great fun and there are so many other wonderful places to visit that are not that far from LB. We also like to travel over the bridge to Astoria, Or.

Location is great. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, trail, and main retail strip. The hotel shares amenities with the Adrift Hotel. Free coffee, tea, and bike rentals in the lobby. The food at the Pickled Fish was good. The room was big. The jetted tub and toiletries were nice. The hotel also owns the nearby distillery (free tastings). The lobby also has a fridge where you can buy some nice wines and craft cider/beer.

The location is everything, right next to the beach, with beautiful views of the Ocean and sunset from the restaurant on the top floor. The atmosphere was wonderful, very homely and artistic. It's a hipster's paradise! The staff were all wonderful and the service was amazing. The food is great, the room had everything you could want, and there is plenty more to do without even leaving the hotel. Great value!

The condo we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and handily located close to the swimming pool. We liked the fire pits and seating behind the hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient. Loved the new plush towels provided for the swimming pool. The updates that have been made to this facility in the past few years are wonderful. The Chautauqua is our go-to place in Long Beach.

The room was very comfortable and super clean. It is in the perfect spot to go down to the beach and close to restaurants. My favorite store was right in front of the hotel. It’s just a comfy cozy place to stay. We were able to bring our family pet. I will be going back!

Good location for access to main street shops and restaurants. Also easy access to walk or drive a short distance to several beach access points. Pet friendly, although $30/nt is high compared to similar stays where the fee actually includes "extras" for the pets.

We love smaller hotels with character. So this one fit the bill. Walking distance to ice-cream shop, beach and eating places. Staff at the desk were friendly. We would stay here again. The price is reasonable compared elsewhere in town.

Nice location. About as close to beach as Long Beach allows.1st floor is for pets, 2nd and 3rd for non pet owners. Easy walk to all attractions on main road. Long Beach WA is like a less congested smaller version of Seaside Or.

I liked that it was close to everything in Downtown Long Beach, but the no parking and having to drag all our luggage and food in and then up stairs was a bummer. I also liked the rooftop patio.
