It's close to many establishments to fulfill an array of needs and wants. Whether it's shopping for items forgotten to pack or just finding things you like ( malls- grocery stores- Walgreens-Target). Entertainment is not that far away going in any direction Things for the kids or the kid in you; as well as adult night life.

Lombard is an affordable location.
Lombard is an affordable location. I did not see any evidence of crime in the 4 days we stayed. Lots of restaurant options. Very convenient to 355. Good location for Muslim travelers because of halal restaurant options and proximity to mosques.
Not a super glamorous area North road is more of a budget area that over by the Hyatt.
To avoid the toll road going into Chicago, go about 6 miles East to 290. Chicago is maybe a 20 minute drive. Driving was really not bad in terms of congestion. We were there on weekdays. There is a Jewel grocery store, Aldi, and a Target nearby, and some more upscale businesses.
Some of the Indian restaurants are closed on Mondays. Most restaurants, Target, and Aldi were closed when we drove in about 10:30 on Sunday night.

Lombard is a very convenient location and is a safe area in which to stay. Lots of shopping and dining nearby and easy access to expressways. Also, a first rate hospital nearby, if medical attention is needed.
Hotel seems quite run down. teared down curtains in the bedroom, also not clean / whilst overall the room was very clean.
Breakfast is a joke, with poor quality snacks and an incredible sign telling the customer "please have one only so other customers can also have"...never seen in 30 years of business travelling.
The only thing I did not like was the difficulty of finding the hotel.. Our GPs kept telling us that we had arrived. We went into the Target store and they pointed out the hotel. You need better making from 22nd Street and also better marking on the north side of the hotel.
After checking in and being given an unsatisfactory guest room, I was easily able to switch to a more suitable one. The hotel's first floor lobby and guest dining & lounge areas are clean and acceptable. Also, the hotel is very conveniently located to the Oak Brook, IL area.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was nicer than we thought it would be and we appreciate that we were put on the "back" side of the property for our 2-week stay; it was nice facing the quiet parking lot of the hotel behind us.

The location was perfect for me to move about the Chicagoland area with easy access to all highways.
The room was roomy and easy for a couple of adults. And the hotel was very quiet even thought it was full.
Love the embassy suites..and excellent places to stay...great for children 👏 they have indoor swimming...free drinks for adults 😀 excellent breakfast..the staff and rooms are excellent 😎
