I like the historic architecture and the variety of privately owned eateries. My favorite spots are the Colonial Inn, where I stay when I am in town. They have great food, cozy rooms, and great hospitality. It is fairly easy to get to from the surrounding areas. I felt safe walking about town, even late at night. WE are usually there to attend concerts at the Tally Ho theater which is right around the corner from the inn. Once we are checked in we usually go everywhere on foot.

Nice town near a lot of historical sites.
Nice town near a lot of historical sites. We did Harpers Ferry on our way into the city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, some with music. Definitely go to Gruto‘s ice cream store, one of the best soft serve we’ve found.

Leesburg is a wonderful town!
Leesburg is a wonderful town! It has all of the feel of history but all updated just the perfect touch. The designers really knew what they were doing here. One of the coolest things I saw was a brick front building all attached all the way down the street but this one is a coffee shop. One of the windows was opened up to serve street side coffee and baked goods. If you pass through the door the rest of the building is missing, it is a court yard! I could not stop staring at this coolest acrchtecual design! There is so much to see and to do! Just gazing up and down the street from an open air café would make the stay worth it. Stay right in town at the Colonial Inn, breakfast is great every morning and dinner in the evening at either of the local resteraunts all are good or treat yourself to some really unique resteraunts, my personal favorites, the Lightfoot resteraunt in a beautiful old bank or travel about 30 min away down back roads to Hunters Head Resteraunt in a 1700s built home. Make sure you get a reservation in advance of your stay! Leesburg is the most delightful town! You are sure to love it!

It was a nice short trip.
It was a nice short trip. Red Rock Overlook was very pretty if you like hiking. It was a bit muddy when we went but good hiking shoes solves that. Visited Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, it was very pretty not crowded at all and just really serene. Went to Mom's Apple Pie Bakery a little line and that's how you know it's good. Also, grabbed a sub from Puccio's New York Deli it reminded me of home, that sub was straight fire.

Didn’t get to experience the town very much.
Didn’t get to experience the town very much. Only there for one night. We did have an excellent dinner at Melt Gourmet Burgers! Check them out for a casual delicious burger experience if you are in Leesburg.
We were traveling from out of state for a 5pm Friday wedding and were hoping to check in earlier than the 4pm time . I called the hotel in the morning as we were leaving and requested the earlier check in in order to prepare for the wedding , if possible. Although the front desk staff person could not guarantee the room would be ready he understood my request and made a note of it . Fortunately, we were able to check in at 3 pm so we didn’t have to stress about being late to the wedding. Appreciated their sensitivity to the situation .
Staff were great, very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a 10. You could order from a diverse menu. And it was delicious. The room was very clean except for a dirty throw rug which I had them remove. There was no elevator so I had to carry my suitcase up a large flight of stairs. There was no parking so I had to use the public lot behind the hotel and carry my suitcase up and down the stairs from there as well. I’m retired and a great grandmother so this was difficult. Luckily I’m in good shape.
The BEST hotel staff I have ever met. We were greeted with snacks for the children and menus to local eateries. When I couldn't secure a cab, the gentleman at the front desk called one for me! When we left, one of my children had left her purse and I was given a call right away and told they would hold it at the front desk for us. This gentleman went above and beyond for us and I really appreciate it!
The facility was very nice. We were there for a family wedding and it was just a short drive to the Barn at Willow Brook. The breakfast in the mornings were great and very tasty and the pool area was the place for relaxation. We had great weather that weekend so we were able to enjoy the pool quite a bit. The area surrounding Leesburg is beautiful rolling hills and has some amazing wineries.
Hotel was dirty, we had to flag down someone to check us in. Beds had this vibrating squeek just from turning over. The restraint was nice and the food was okay but the rest felt like a motel 6. Way overpriced for what we got. I never leave bad reviews but the pictures are very deceptive.

Quiet environment!
Good location!
Great breakfast!
Clean room!
Excellent and helpful Staff!
This is the hotel I strongly recommend.
btw, it's also a very nice place to stay for business traveling since there are cozy desktops and chairs in the room.
Assistant General Manager Naresh Kumar Powdel displayed genuine hospitality in checking us in a little early. His sunny and accommodating personality made staying at the hotel a welcoming, relaxing and enjoyable experience.
It’s a super quaint hotel. The staff was really friendly and nice! Our room had a street view and it was fun watching people. Location couldn’t get any better and there were a bunch of options for breakfast!
It was pleasantly quirky - not part of a chain. It was a complete one-off, with a funky bar-diner on the premises, and an excellent cafe-style breakfast. it was also right in the centre of Leesburg.
Very friendly staff with pleasant demeanor. The breakfast was good and the staff kept the area clean and filled. Room was clean and did not smell of any odors.
