Our family was visiting Labanon for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed our stay at the Lebanon Holiday Inn Express. The staff were friendly. We visited the local Harley dealership, Grocery store and DQ where everyone we met were friendly as well.

Then we were given the room with two bed which was located outside of the main hotel.
The area was not good and felt very scary. I installed there I would joy be able to sleep at all for sure as I was so scared by looking at surroundings.
In the room, the top of the toilet was open. Did not bother to go in at all.
As I was with family, we decided to leave immediately even though it was 10 pm at night time and immediately booked another hotel.
I would like to have my money back as it was really shocking and unexpected at night time.
We drove 1 hour to Allentown from labenon for better hotel as nothing was available close by.

After changing my room from the long term residents area, I come to find out that I was charged 1 night for canceling that room and since I requested a different room, was charged the "Walk In" rate. They charged me an extra $378 for the 3 nights stay. When I booked this in March through booking,com it was $182. I NEVER signed for the charge of $378 nor would I have agreed to it. It also says on my CC statement that it was an "internet purchase" but I was standing in the lobby at the time of purchase which was unbeknown to me. I have since disputed the charge with my CC company and reported this mess to Booking.com. I have to say this is fraud and no way to do business. I do this trip every year and up until this addtional charge would have next year. Now going forward, STAY AWAY from this place. And after the fact reading the reviews I see others have experienced the same with being over charged. They should be removed from the Booking.com website for this fraudulant behavior.

This is a very tired hotel It's in need of a serious upgrade.It seems that this hotel has been turned into a home Is for people on assistance and living their long term. I saw a children coming out of the hotel and waiting for Is the school bus. The night of my arrival the police were required as there were young teens roaming throughout the property that we're not guests.. And upon speaking to the police told me they are there all the time.
Needed a hotel closest to renn Faire grounds. Usually stay right next door to the Faire or across the street. Closest available hotel was this one. The room itself wasn’t bad looking but the bathroom was disgusting and old and needs to be redone. The shower was scary. It wasn’t clean at all. Brown smears on the walls near the toilet. Pizza place across the street has great food and to go beer.
The room located with all the homeless from the town, practically they use the room for a local shelter during winter . Horrible! Horrible ! Horrible ! Perfect location to visit family. Staff is professional and very friendly. The breakfast offered in the morning was the best I've ever had in a hotel. As a bonus coffee and tea is available all day. If you need a place to stay in the Lebanon, PA area this is the one!
The hotel stated they had been booked and extremely busy over the last few days. There were some food items that were not available, like pancake batter for the pancake machine. I traveled with three children, so pancakes are an important menu item.
Arrived by bicycle, we rode up the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail from Elizabethtown (22 miles). The last 3 miles from the trail in downtown Lebanon up Rte 422 to the hotel was the tricky part. We don't like using roads shared by cars and trucks.
We like that there are so many restaurants and other conveniences right next to the hotel. The breakfast was above average compared to other similar properties - a good selection, tasty and the service was excellent!
