An old hotel that has been fully modernized. Staff helped us with all our check in needs and were very friendly. Nice reception/lobby area with a lounge and easy chairs. Super rooms, huge with normal bed and TV area, then an extra section with sofa, big chair, table, and a business-like desk and office chair. Very impressed with the space. Could invite a few friends round from another room! Room price was excellent too. Close to the NASA Visitor Center, Clear Lake, and the Kemah Boardwalk. A very nice area to stay in.

The location was very good. Despite comments to the contrary, our room was very clean, admittedly the furnishings and carpet are dated and does need updating. Our room overlooked the pool and at no time could we smell chlorine. The breakfast was good, waffles, bagels, bread, small muffins, fresh oranges, breakfast bars, yoghurts, scrambled egg and sausage, fruit juice, tea and coffee aplenty. The first morning they cleared away just before 9.00am however after that every morning they asked if we were finished before clearing. Weekdays 9.00am and weekends 10.00am. We stayed 5 nights, the staff were pleasant. Our room didn't have a plug that worked in the sink, but they quickly arranged a maintenance man who replaced it.
Just off I-45, this Webster hotel is within a 15-minute drive of the NASA Space Center. The hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi and a spacious outdoor pool.

The restaurants in this area are so eclectic. Great choices for different cuisines. Merlion Thai is a personal favorite. Also, Pier 6, Topwater Grill, Skippers, Cafe Dew to name a few. I do not go hungry here. Also, Kemah Boardwalk evening entertainers are stellar. Tracy Perez was FANTASTIC.

Beautiful and clean with lots of things to do close by. We used an Uber driver to get around for dinner so that we could enjoy our evening meals and cocktails with no worries about driving in the traffic. We chose a favorite of ours in San Leon for dinner on Friday night called Topwater Bar and Grill. Saturday night we went to T-Bone Tom's in Kemah. Food is always good and they had a great band too. So much to do and so little time. We will be back.

Loved the city, 12 minutes away from NASA space center. Perfect location surrounded by multiple restaurants and the people were so kind and friendly everywhere we went. Jimmy Changas was a great place to eat. NASA space center was fun for the whole family and it was easy to drive around from one place to another.

We were close to many places to shop and restaurants. I had transportation and we discovered short cuts to places we wanted to go.

Bad bed bugs breakfast was bad the room was not even clean the building it self need it to be clean. We had to check out 1 day before due to the bed bugs they have a guy cleaning g the room with 2 sprays not even changing sheets...will not stay in this hotel no more.
I booked a room for an event honoring my son who passed away but it was cancelled due to weather. I cancelled online but was still charged plus am addition $50. Called and emailed the hotel and booking.com but I was never given a refund. I'll never refer or go through Booking.com or Candlewood again!!! I'm on a very limited budge. I need my money. I only did it for my son but no sympathy or courtesy to even return my calls or email. Do not use either one!!!
room was a great size, had a desk and a table with 2 chairs. Bed was comfy & sheets were clean. restroom was stocked and clean as well. Located in a very quiet area. Plethora of grocery stores and major restaurants within a 2 mile radius. & there’s a mall 6 minutes away.
Brilliant hotel, clean, new, lovely, comfortable beds, great breakfast and nice vibe, easy and quick service, was exactly what I was looking for my 3 day stay in League City.
Cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff, excellent beds and comfortable pillows. The breakfast was good and the coffee tastiest hotel coffee I have had in a long time.
