The room was great. It fit us well. Only wish we would've had a little couch or something like that. But it was great. Nice and clean and comfortable beds! Loved the little porch too. We go to Lava every summer and love it more and more each time we go. ❤️

Adventures Vacation Rentals, hotel in Lava Hot Springs

Located in Lava Hot Springs, Adventures Vacation Rentals is situated directly across the street from hot mineral pools at the Lava Hot Springs Foundation.

The room was big and had a ton of space. It was very comfortable. We thought we were getting a small little 1 bed, 1 bath and got upgraded to a much bigger space. Very great value for the money.

Riverside Hot Springs Inn & Spa - Adults Only, hotel in Lava Hot Springs

Located in downtown Lava Hot Springs Idaho, the historic Riverside Hot Springs Inn & Spa is an adult-only hotel featuring an on-site restaurant and lounge.

The location is walking distance from the hot springs (~3 minutes or so) which was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was simple and the person at the front desk at the time was very friendly. PSA - bring your own first aid kit. My partner started having a bad headache late at night and we went to the front desk to see if they had any OTC pain medication like ibuprofen. Unfortunately they didn't and the closest open gas station was a 10 mile drive away, which wasn't too ideal. So.. again, bring your own first aid kit! We usually do but it slipped our mind and boy did we regret it 😂

    It’s our favorite Thanksgiving vacation.

It’s our favorite Thanksgiving vacation. Swimming gets pricey, particularly when you can’t re-enter, but it is part of the experience - my family has to go to both swim spots every year. The indoor pool with the play area for kids, and the outdoor hot pools because I’m the mom and I get to do what I want. The town itself is an experience, walking around for coffee and ice creams. Lovely market with all the necessities. A handful of tasty restaurants. It feels like home for a girl from a small town.

Old hotel with a lot of charm.

Old hotel with a lot of charm. But we did not like the pictures om Booking.com with outdoor hotsprings, which we understod was at the hotel. It was some nearby public bath to pay for. When we told the reception about this misleading information with the pictures, they did not care and just said "Tell it to the hotel owner".

The indoor hot spring tubs were beautiful and the perfect temperature. The breakfast was delicious and generous! We were disappointed that there were no outdoor tubs even though it was advertised that there were.

Cute town with a variety of restaurants.

Cute town with a variety of restaurants. Try the turkey bacon wrap at The Chuck Wagon and the burger from The Shack, both were excellent! The hot pools were perfect and so well maintained. Fun weekend getaway!

    Definitely recommend.

Definitely recommend. The river is a must to go rafting down. Always do it for a half day, so you have enough time to go down as many times as you wants. Make sure you book a shuttle. the hot springs and pool are awesome and they have so many fun little shops to check out. The Atrium is fun and Blue Jay Inn and the Purple Moon to name a few are worth checking out. Great food and ice cream all over

    I love the hot springs.

I love the hot springs. There were no paper towels, or hand towels in any of the common use restrooms. One of my pillow cases had a head impression on it, it was not laundered. The toilet paper holder in the women's restroom as broken, no toilet paper. I didn't eat the free breakfast, the sanitation was too questionable.

What a perfect place for a girl's getaway. The Dragonfly is so cute! It is close enough that you can walk, bike or if you're adventurous drive a rental scooter to the Lava hot springs or the pool. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the extra toothbrush and shampoo and conditioner. The beds are really comfortable and the sheets were soft. Also really loved the fire pit and the fairy lights. A perfect way to wind down after a fun day soaking.

The whole stay was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable the entire stay. The room was very clean and nicely themed, room had a big jetted bathtub and fireplace, they also offered lots of board games, books, and dvds that were available to use. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we really enjoyed our time here.

The space was large and was great for a family group of eight. It is on the Main Street in Lava and had a full lichen with comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms that are shared which worked well. Hot tubs can get full because they are used by hotel guests and general public who pays, but the hot springs behind the hotel are hot and fun to soak in.

The hotel is right in the middle of town, nicely located with an easy walk to the hot springs and the river tubing and the interesting shops. There is a nice little garden in the middle and the decorations give it a homey feel. The rooms are nice sized and comfortable and well planned. We had a very nice stay.

Breakfast was nice, loved the mineral springs inside the hotel. I enjoyed how old the place was and how carefully it has been modernized. Loved that we stayed next door to where Teddy Roosevelt stayed once.

Great old place, from what I understood the oldest hotel in the Lava centre, in a great location. Good beds, nice staff and the private hot spring baths were a nice feature. Will stay again when in the area!
