Nothing at all. We were 10 minutes away when we were called and told they had over booked.
We had until 11 pm I believe to check in and we were going to make that time. I believe they gave our room away thinking we weren't going to make it.

First off the room that was confirmed was not available!
First off the room that was confirmed was not available! they tried to give us a room that was so small we couldn't of even got our luggage in it.!!! We spoke with the manager Angel the morning we were arriving and she assured us everything was good to go! When we got there about 5 hrs later - we found she had unbooked our room and gave it to someone else.. Then when the clerk called her, she told him to us in another room ( 2 full size beds) - we had booked a a king bed room! THe room was not conducive to my disabilities and was so dirty I wouldn't have let my dogs stay in it! The sheets on the bed were even dirty! We couldn't even get our luggage to the room without climbing 2 flights of stairs!!!! We checked right back out and went somewhere else!!!! The young man that tried to help us was great! but that manager is a real piece of work and needs to be gone. This place is definitely not to Best Western standards!!!!

Nice staff but not very clean at all. I wish I had paid $40 more for the Comfort Inn. Mold on AC, sticky bathroom floor, stained and smelly carpet in room and hallway. Not convinced the room was bed bug / other things free. Left with the clothes I slept in sealed in a garbage bag. For perspective, I'm a seasonal employee in the outdoor industry and used to camping for extended amounts of time... I'm not picky about much other than a clean space. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Aside from the staff being nice, it was pretty terrible.

The side entrance B could use some attention. The garbage can at the door was over flowing onto the cement. There were two old desk chairs by the door outside, one was upset half on the cement and ground. Cigarette Butts in the grass. "Wires half in the ground and hanging loosely on the left side of door in front of my window....grass had been torn out in that area." The window could not be opened in my room, perhaps rusted shut or clogged with dirt? The commode is dangerous as it is "very low for older people." The "entire Staff" was great!! Very helpful and delighted to be with. They all showed "they care for the property, which is unusual" but very appealing for your company. Give them all a raise, they deserve it!!

The hotel was very clean - the room, bathroom, breakfast area and in general. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Great place to stay when visiting our daughter in Frostburg. We also visited Cumberland. LaVale is approx 1/2 way between Frostburg and Cumberland.

We went to one of the local places to eat and it was very good. We had brunch at Bob Evans; which is always great! We were in La Vale to go to Rockygap, so we didn't spend much time there except for dining. Just disappointed in the hotel I chose!

The area was great, everyone was polite and friendly. not a place for kids having nothing around to entertain them. was great for us to get away and have some peace and quiet and riding through the mountains. Plenty of places to shop and eat and the Casino is only 20 minutes away.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good and I appreciated how they had it set up for covid...rather than buffet style for the hot items, someone served the food and everything else was individually packaged. It was great for being pet-friendly. Although, I wish that the yard was cleaned by the hotel from owners that refuse to clean up after their pets (there was a lot of poop lying around).
Room was dirty and had roaches. Complained to staff and they refunded my stay. Plumbing also was not working or leaking. I have stayed here before and it has never been like this. I actually had to leave and stay at another hotel because of the bugs and plumbing. I have a reservation for December but will cancel and stay elsewhere, at least until they fix things and clean.
I have stayed in the area before and really was not fully aware of the hotel and it's location. But this time around my wife was with me and I like for her to stay in a nice place, and you fit the bill perfectly. The breakfast and the setup was quite good. I will certainly stay there again when I come to that area. We were more than pleased. Thanks for a great stay.
The customer service was great and the area had so many options for food and there was a stream of water on the side of the hotel and it is pet friendly and small beach ⛱️ near by.
The hotel was very welcoming and clean!! Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel lobby was very nice and clean. The breakfast was yummy with a good assortment of items.
It was clean, and basic. Nothing exceptional; the same hotel room as every other chain hotel. Nothing wrong, everything clean, the bed was fine.
Just nothing great about it.
