Breakfast good, and didn't look old at all from the inside. My room was hella good, as I haven't been in a bed for...months. So when I got in theirs, it was different. (body takes time for things, ya know.) But either way, I fell asleep and woke without any problems.

It's not Houston. Feels like a smaller town except with big city amenities like shopping, food varieties, and the local folks are still folks. Friendly, hospitable and well mannered. Diverse, but everyone still gets along here. Texan feel, through and through.

Katy, particularly around Cinco Ranch areas, is a beautiful city with tremendous diversity of population. There are wonderful places to eat: Texas Traditions being top of my list! Katy is quite easy to navigate.

The town is nice. Restaurant service folks were friendly and courteous.
This comment is about the Marriott Courtyard by Katy Mills Mall. My overall impression about the place includes front-counter person, broken hair dryer, useless breakfast vouchers. Both wife and I broght beg bug home after the stay here.
We are a well-travelled pair of middle-age Asian. I also travel for my work and have been at different hotels around the country. This is Katy facility ruined our enthusiasm about the Marriott name brand. I hope this is just incompetence of the local management team and not an indicator of the enterprise at large.
While writing this comment, I am not feeling angry. I am just feeling disappointed I felt too trusty of the Marriott name brand.

We didn't see a lot of Katy.
We didn't see a lot of Katy. We went to a family reunion held at a church and then straight to the Hyatt after. We left the next morning and headed straight back to our home in north Texas. What we saw of Katy it looked like a nice place and our niece and her family like living there.

That was my first time Katy and I'm thinking about moving there that's how much I enjoyed myself. There is one place there that I didn't enjoy and they need to demolish the whole hotel it's the Oyo. I thought I was in a crime scene

Great city awesome places to shop and have some food but must go to the new areas like LA Centerra Cinco ranch, basically the rich parts of katy. Stay away from N. Fry rd and S Mason rd unless you go past Kingsland after that street the seen is 100% much nicer.
Room & bed, bathroom not safe if your disabled, no safety bars no Rubber bathmat , this hôtel has 2 locations next to each other, 2nd building which you have long way to walk to has breakfast and pool so be prepared to empty out your room, to go get breakfast before 9am and wear your vathing suit to get exercise in the pool !! Your card doesn't work for doors in 2nd building either so you may get locked in pool area since no ones around !! Geez alot of handle but nice décor and comfort of bed. TV charnels another problem.
I’ve stayed at this hotel the last 3 times I’ve been in Katy. The staff is beyond exceptional, I never have a problem requesting anything, I always feel very welcomed. Just a great hotel to stay at. Robert, I think that’s what his name is, he’s always great and very friendly. Tammy is by the best front desk attendant I’ve ever met. She’s very friendly and helpful, and again, made me feel like I’m very welcome at this hotel. I’ll definitely keep coming back to this specific hotel.
I did not eat the breakfast so I cannot comment. The ceiling fan. That is the thing I liked. The King Size Room is great but the queen size is not. Huge difference. Hotel will just change your reservation if they so desire. Didn't appreciate Kim the manager changing my room reservation when I had checked in then night before on line and guaranteed my room was ready. Well, she gave it away.

no break fast. all fake pictures. you will get accommodations in a student hostel kind while pictures are shown differently in their websites which are never operational and take fake excuses of covid
My daughter loved that the room was right by the pool, and the hotel was right by the waterpark. We were kinda nervous when we were talking to people that were staying there long term about the people breaking in to vehicles. We had someone watching over us which was great.
I love the fact that the rooms are inside the hotel instead of facing outside. The rooms are definitely "Texas Size". TVs are a great size as well. Rooms are very clean. Parking is great. I like that they have EV charging stations.
The rooms are nice and clean! There was a walk in shower so that was a nice addition. Very close to a lot of restaurants and stores which was convenient, also down the street from Katy mills mall. The bed was comfy.
I was in Katy for pleasure and this was my first time staying at the Tru Hotel, it was very nice and clean. The receptionist was very friendly. Check was extremely smooth. I would definitely stay there again.
New building with small but functional kitchen on the rooms. Our microwave was installed on the first day we were there. We were well treated during our week on the hotel by everyone.
The hotel is close to everything , movie theater, mall & many more. It’s pet friendly with reasonable/affordable prices. Have been here twice already & would go back !
