The property is in a great location. It is within walking distance to places to eat and shop. Super easy to get to and a great location to base yourself if you’re wanting to get away from the tourist trap of Waikiki and do lots of hikes and swimming. It was clean and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed more nights. I was sad to leave! I will be recommending to friends and will try to stay if we’re ever on the island again.
Set in Kailua in the O'ahu region, with Kailua Beach nearby, ____Cute Plantation House in Kailua with AC!!_____ offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

We looked at latest the reviews just before we left home and lowered our expectations, however, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a little tired but we had no bugs, it was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The rear garden was private and sitting out on the patio was good. We thought the beds were comfortable and when we texted the owner regarding a loose handle on the shower, he came very quickly and replaced it. He was friendly and helpful.
Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining.

The well appointed rooms - everything we needed. Loved the bidet and heated toilet seat. Also loved the automated sheer and blackout blinds, the air conditioner which we could operate individually, the lighting, the phone charging facility - all modern, streamline and cleverly done. The room was cleaned the moment we left for breakfast and was spotless. Thank you Cel. Although we didn't swim the pool area was lovely.
We enjoyed the time spent (lunch and cocktails) at the Halekulani across the road. Such a beautiful setting.

Although I thought the room needed upgrading, the property itself was lovely and the staff was great. I really enjoyed the easy-going feel of the place - just what I needed. It was often cloudy in the morning but sun came out in the afternoon. We rented a car which worked out great but they do charge a 15$ fee for parking each day. Overall I would stay again and would recommend to friends.

The East side of Oahu is not really as tourist as the Waikiki and Honolulu areas of the island and for us was all the better for it. There are a large number of much quieter beaches and overall its not as busy. Its short of proper restaurants so self catering is a better option, there are fast food places but more what you would expect for residents rather than for special occasions. You definitely need a rental car here because it would be hard to get around without one. If you are in to cycling that would also work of course.

This town is the best. Everyone was sweet.
This town is the best. Everyone was sweet. Not too far a drive from anywhere. But would need a rental car. Byodo-In Temple, Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens, and Ka'a'awa Beach Park were amazing! Close to Jurassic Park too which was cool to drive by.

Will be back!
Will be back! Paddle boarding perfection to sandbar-though ideally would get for several hours vs 1.5 hour limit-then could visit island more. $25 charge but so much better than boat tour or kayak to see sandbar. Amazing hikes wi a few miles.
The setting was phenomenal - exactly what we were hoping for in a Hawaiian holiday!
The peace and quiet of respectful guests and neighbours.
The amenities helped us manage our dietary restrictions.
The access to sea kayaks allowed us to have a unique first experience on the ocean.
The king-sized beds provided very comfortable sleeps!
Staff was helpful with check-in and laundry.
The location of the hotel is fantastic - it is calm and beautiful, with mountain and bay view. Mornings on the balcony were our favorite part of the trip. The hotel is small and cozy, but has a swimming pool and space for sunbathing. the room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.
To get this straight at the beginning: This accomodation is very nice, the staff is great and the "green idea" practiced in the hotel is good and laudable. The cooking facilities in the room are very functional. The balcony of our room offered a nice stay outside. Kayaking is free of charge. A snorkeling tour is offered at an extra charge.
We did not even know there was breakfast.. I think we should have got a map or something to help with that. The rooms were connected to other people that you could very easily hear. The hot tub was very small, and the boat that it shown on the picture to take u to the sand bar was broken. It was not our favorite part of Hawaii trip.
The location is amazing if you're looking for peace and quiet to unwind. However, be prepared to pay around $140.00 to and from the airport. The resort offers a snorkeling tour combined with a trip to the Kaneohe Sandbar which was definitely worthwhile. Captain Rall and Brain were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.
From yoga, to front desk, the sandbar and snorkel cruise to even the rooms and amazingly comfortable beds everything was amazing. The pool was so clean and amazing as well. We had the best time and could not have asked for a better vacation. And let’s not forget the view!!!!!! Paradise bay is absolutely exceptional!
With kitchens. The mountain and lagoon/bay views are amazing and it's quiet. Its a tropical rain forest. Different than a sandy beach resort in a good way. Lived the use of kayaks. Good snorkeling out in the bay. We saw manta rays, turtles and fish. Rooms are clean and comfortable
Very peaceful and beautiful! Our lanai was huge and so nice to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of the bay and the mountains. We took the boat tour out to the reef and sand bar! That was a lot of fun! We saw sea turtles and Brian and the Captain were wonderful!
The property is a gem! Beautiful grounds, beautiful view, wonderful guests to chat with. The room was large, with a comfortable king-size bed and comfy pillows. Always lovely to sit outside on the lanai and enjoy the beauty of Kaneohe!
The location was perfect. The hotel was quiet, away from all the hubbub of the day, and we saw little of other guests. And the “bird alarm” was well timed every morning. We look forward to coming back again.
The views were lovely, the room was very comfortable and our patio was great. We chilled out here at the end of our trip to Hawaii, just before leaving, and it was a scenic spot to do so.
Hotel located in very quiet and beautiful part of the island. Stunning view from our balcony!
Extremally helpful and friendly stuff
(BIG thank you for your warm welcome and support)
Free kayaks which saves a lot if you wanna go to the sandbar. Beautiful location. Free yoga. One of the only hotels up this coast so great location to go to Kualoa ranch.
I like the aloha of the workers there and the location is next to Kaneohe Bay. The room was spacious and private. It had good wifi and tv. Kitchen was very useable.
