Very clean! Pet friendly but you wouldn't even know, no animal smells at all. Staff was super nice and personable. Received a suite upgrade and it was perfect!
Lots of amenities and freebies are available- free beer or wine? Yes please! As many crepes as you want at breakfast? Absolutely! Very well maintained gym as well, if you end up eating too many crepes though.

North Florida Beaches are lovely. In January, most beachwear stores were closed. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance. Pharmacy and grocery store also within walking distance. Area was clean well-lit, nice to walk and had plenty of public parking. There are very few boutique stores for shopping.

We really enjoyed our time in Jacksonville Beach. The area overall looked clean and well maintained. Buildings looked modern and pleasing. Great place to visit or move into. Area doesn't look like a tourist trap meaning we didn't see a lot of tshirt or souvenir shops. Very pleasant city!

Check before traveling to the beach as there was a volley ball tournament that took up almost the entire beach, probably 25 or more nets set up. It was nice to walk in the evenings when the tournament was finished for the day. It was 2 full days or more. The water was not real cold for April. A nice place to swim. Great for families. Very clean! The sunrises were all amazing!

Came to vacation from out of state after having lived In Jacksonville for many years, so I was familiar with the location. Lots of good restaurants in the area, safe for the many bike riders out by the beaches, easy to get to area attractions like the zoo, the Cummerbund museum, football stadium, etc. Peterbrooke’s chocolates are a must, get their chocolate popcorn!

Beautiful beach, soft sand, warm water. The area has a lot to do, a fun downtown area, Town Center, UNF campus. A lot of shopping and restaurants. Safe areas for outdoor exercise and activities. Great area to visit.

We Loved Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park! P1- Surfing, folks fishing, watching boats, Shell collecting. The dolphins were an added treat!!!
We cooked most of our meals.
We did go to St. Augustine for a sunset sail onboard the Schooner Freedom. A Must for both young and old!

The woman with red hair at the front desk that checked me in was so pleasant! Breakfast spread was very good. Wish they rotated out the biscuits and gravy, not necessary every day and wish they had plain eggs without cheese. Appreciate them having soy milk. The attendant Tuesday and Wednesday morning was so nice and made sure everything was fully stocked. Pool is small and was mostly shaded in the afternoon when I went out so was cold. Location close to Jacksonville beach.
Beachfront location, extremely friendly staff and walking distance to shops, restaurants, stores and craft beer!! The sunrises were amazing!!! The boardwalk between the hotel and the beach made trips to local venues pleasant...adding a more private area for early morning/evening walks. "Foot" shower and outside restrooms were located by the hotels back entrance on the boardwalk, just before walking a dune boardwalk fifty feet to a spectacular beach.
The location is excellent to the beach (just down the street, 2 min walk) and we needed to meet friends in Town Center at Neptune Beach. The house itself was very comfortable and maintained its temperature inside extremely well even though it was very hot outside. Convenience to restaurants such as the Brunch Haus for breakfast was a great surprise. We really liked the wine refrigerator in the bar area.
The surrounding area was a lot more pleasant than I thought it would be. The hotel looked and smelt fresh and clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Very Convenient place to stay as it is literally right on the beach, and the Bar and Grill area is perfect! Restaurant was fairly priced! I would say the best value to money hotel in the area.
After leaving Panama because of our skin color 5 hours later we end up here....The location was perfect right on the beach; farther away from all the bars ,but close enough to not get a DUI. The staff was excellent .They made us feel welcomed and belonged. The Jacksonville beach area is a nice area and experience.No dixie flags in site.
The property was in good condition, the staff was friendly all the way around, the bed was so COMFY!!! My only one little issue was some long hairs in my shower, but it didn't kill me (I'm bald LOL) and was just something I noticed. It really was the best hotel experience I've had in years!! Thank you!

Having a fridge/freezer, microwave,etc in the room was great.
Hotel overall was nice. The original oceanfront room provided did not meet my expectations, but the quickly allowed me to switch rooms. The convivence of charging stuff to my room was nice as well. When I return to Jacksonville Beach I will come here again.
The valet was honestly the only good thing I can say about the hotel. The guys were nice and took good care of our car. Although I wished we could have had an option of not having to pay for parking regardless.
This hotel is old and it is historic. We stayed in a king oceanfront suite on the first floor. You could barely see the ocean because of the dunes. The breakfast provided is good. The location is primo!

such a cute space! Decorated for Halloween to welcome us. Everything you need is here and available. I would come here again if available during future trips to Jacksonville Beach.
It is within the walkable distance from the beach. you may not have store around it but other hotels. Parking seems okay but the room cleanliness wasnt great.
