We have stayed here before for many years when traveling to the Hot Sulphur Springs area & it’s our motel of choice. It’s a quiet motel despite being right on the main highway. Always clean and secure; equipped with up-to-date & functioning equipment (coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer & ceiling fan). Recently installed solar panels, uses low phosphate soap/shampoo & supplies a recycle container in each room.
It was truly a quiet and comfortable way for tired travelers to stay. The man who checked us in was more than just a staff.
He was friendly and informative. Delivered our food to our room and gave us coffee to go in the morning.
I would recommend Canyon to anyone who is traveling through.
They were very accommodating for a last-minute stay. They even let us check in late as this was a last-minute trip and we arrived outside of our check-in time (we called to let them know).
The space was good. It was great to have cooking facilities. We appreciated that our room was ready even though they are remodeling and getting ready for high season. It’s a cute place!
