This was our first time staying in a hotel in the NOLA area (usually we stay with family). The location of this hotel is spot on—for family visits and for tourists. Granted, it is not downtown but access to Earhart Expressway (which leads into the downtown area) is very quick and easy. Again, we have family throughout the New Orleans area so this location was centralized, more or less, for us.
Hands down Hampton Inn always has the most comfortable beds and my stay last night confirmed that again. I slept like a baby. The check-in ladies were friendly and engaged and made me feel so welcome in a city I’ve never been to before. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Thanks for the delicious breakfast and coffee as well!
Very convenient location for the nearby wedding reception venues (which is why we were there). Otherwise, out of the way and inconvenient spot for either downtown NOLA or the airport. Comfortable and well-kept hotel with friendly staff, though the price seemed high for what it was - maybe due to the lack of competition around.
I loved the location of this hotel. We were nearby lots of shopping, restaurants, gas stations, and even hospital. Dowtown was not out of reach and the staff were absolutely wonderful…not to mention make some of the best cranberry/oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had!!
Breakfast was above average for similar properties. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Though far from downtown New Orleans, this was the closest available hotel with 2 rooms available at a tolerable price for St. Patrick's Day.
The hotel is beautiful! The bed was ver comfortable and the room was spacious with nice updated furniture and clean bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and the staff that tried to help me with locating my cell phone charger were delightful.
This hotel is close to EVERYTHING! Shopping & restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Also, the staff was nice and the room was really clean.
