Lovely building and pleasant garden on walking distance from the wonderful Moss Beach (4 mins on foot through a cypress forest) with a year-round harbour seal colony. Fantastic weekend escape. Staff were welcoming, rooms were large with minimalist furnishing, spotless in every aspect.
Small but great breakfast, centred generous helpings of fresh fruit.

Indulgent bathrobes and the cottage felt like a warm cocoon filled with delight. It was welcoming from first sight. Cosy and inviting, I love and appreciated all the small touches.

Location of the rental is excellent. Easy to get around HMB. We were fortunate to enjoy the Jazz festival. While on Main Street in HMB, we ate at Johnny's restaurant, a highly recommended breakfast/lunch establishment. We also shopped along the shops on Main Street. We enjoyed the quaint town and the friendliness of people. We can't think of anything negative about our vacation experience.

I liked everything about Half Moon Bay
I liked everything about Half Moon Bay
My stay at Half Moon Bay Lodge was very pleasant and I highly recommend it.
The only downside was my Lunch at the Ritz Carlton
totally mediocre food, a Glass of Wine not even half full, I do NOT recommend it 👎👎.
The Beaches are great, the Golf Course looks good
I did not play.

Half Moon Bay is a small community with loads of weekend visitors. Hence, nutty traffic on the weekends. Restaurant options were a mixed bag - found a great Italian place (Pasta Moon) and a horrible Indian place (India Beach).

Lovely hotel & location, but certain services and facilities are curtailed at different times of the year..,.eg the dining room was closed during our stay, as was the bar and the spa. This meant no breakfast was available, and all meals/drinks needed to be taken outside of the hotel.

We stayed in Half Moon Bay to stay out of the SF/Silicon Valley crazy but many of our activities were over on the east side of the peninsula. The seafood was fantastic (Sam's Chowder House) and the beaches and road side farms were as well.

Walked from Harbor Inn to the restaurants and moorings in the harbor across the street. Beautiful harbor, lots of walking opportunities, and a lot of choices to places to eat.
I ate at Barbara's Fish Trap right on the wharf. Fresh broiled sea bass was amazing and the service was great.
We found this hotel very well ranked on booking but from the beginning we experience several problems: the sheets were dirty, we ask for changes. Two days after we had dirty towels. We found an agreement with the manager to compensate all of this issues and it was not respected…now we are leaving and waiting for our refund…the breakfast is poor! So for all of this reason I don’t recommend this place!
Location on the beach and the calm relaxing feeling in the hotel One of my absolut favorite hotels in the Bay area. Allthough it starting to be old and worn., First time I stayed here it was new. Rooms in need for upgrading. Breakfast is perfect to bring up yourself to the balkony and the area is absolutelly beautiful. The openfire is perfect on a foggy Novemberdays.
Charming hotel, greeted by loads of flowers and cozy interiors. Stayed in the Botticelli room; was spacious enough to accommodate two large open suitcases. Comfortable bed and pillows. Stayed early May and it was quiet at night. Free parking onsite. Short jog down to the coastal trail and very close to the main road with restaurants, cafes and gift shops.
Good location for SFO airport (about 30 minutes) and much nicer than an airport hotel. Rooms were spacious, bathroom well equipped with a good shower. Wifi worked fine. Friendly staff, no breakfast but decent coffee. Good size bed. Room fully equipped (microwave, useful fridge). Some nice restaurants across the street (the brewery is pretty OK).
Nice quiet property with lots of snacks and goodies laid out. Very convenient for setting off for a stroll around Half Moon Bay. We were disappointed that there was no onsite breakfast. Part of the pleasure of a B&B stay is the opportunity to chat at breakfast.
Great location with relaxing views. Beautiful and comfy room. Exceptional bed. The staff in this hotel were really nice. It is close to several services walking 5 min. Nearby, there is a restaurant where we had the best fish and ships ever.
Exceptional property, right on the beach. Beautiful location and everything you need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Loved the fire pit outside and the stunning sunrises. Walking distance to shops and places to eat
Outdoor patio very nice, with fire at the table. great to have wine and snacks available. Breakfast very good. Shared area of living and dining room very nice. Very accessible to downtown area of Half Moon Bay
Really great hotel and complex, high quality throughout both in terms of rooms, food and the staff were excellent. Good selection of activities that could be done, we played tennis, cycled etc
The location was perfect. Our room looked right on the beach. The atmosphere is so wonderful. It is small, cozy, friendly and accommodating. The owner adds to the ambiance of the hotel.
Nice and cozy little hotel, friendly front desk, clean room, and good breakfast. We stayed at 6 hotels during our trip. Aristocrat hotel by far is the best.
