The young lady at the front desk was very polite, she seemed to be the only employee day and night. (Owner was out of town) She always had a smile and didn't seem put out having to reprogram the room keys that were demagnetized not once, but twice. (Our cell phones were blamed) The rooms had no carpet which made the floor look clean. The furniture was plain, cheap looking and damaged, but functional.

Glenn and Betsy were amazing hosts, they made us feel right at home and they truly are lovely people. We stopped in for a night at the last minute travelling between locations on our honeymoon and it was a great decision. Granbury is a great little town just a short walk away from the B&B, and Betsy was really helpful talking us through where everything was and her recommendations. Couldn't ask for a better stay or better hosts 😀

Karin at the front desk went above and beyond to help accommodate our family. Our room key didn’t work at first it only took a minute and she was at the room with another key. Just great friendly service overall.

Granbury is a lake destination community.
Granbury is a lake destination community. It has lots of surrounding lake activities to participate in with family. The downtown square is a big attraction with a comfortable walking square and park nearby. It is decorated for Christmas currently beautifully and has a newly renovated Opera house with shows to view. Lots of shops line the square along with choices of food, coffee, and wine eateries available. The city also has many chain restaurants as well as family owned, with an abundant stores to choose from. The main thing that most towns experiencing is traffic and shortage of parking, especially in popular areas. So, be patient and leave a few minutes early, and enjoy the local scenery.

I was there for a family wedding so I didn't get a lot of time in the town or surrounding area. The Square is idyllic. We had dinner at Christina's. Food, service, ambience all great. The town is very congested to motor traffic so walk when you can. Just a beautiful little town in Northern Texas!

I liked that it was a short drive to downtown Granbury and the other places we needed to go. The safety gates on the patio are awesome to keep an eye out on grandkids until you can get down to the dock and water's edge with them. The lake is very beautiful and lakehouse had a great view. I would definitely stay there again!

I wanted my parents to experience a different stay then at hotels and I was not let down. We all loved the place and enjoyed the experience. Atmosphere and breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and made the stay very nice. Surprised the breakfast was three courses.
The staff was accommodating, breakfast was good Saturday morning. Not so good Sunday. Room was clean and quiet. The air conditioning was super cold. Pool was awesome. I would stay again and recommend it
We were in Granbury for a family reunion. Close to downtown
Great location! Great amenities! Tons of room and great views! Was 100% better than a hotel. Was perfect for our overnight stay in Granbury and would be amazing for a long weekend on the lake! The deck over the water was priceless.
Breakfast was okay, but didn’t have that much choice. Very friendly staff at reception and the lady cleaning our room. Bed was awesome, very comfortable! Great location, only a few minutes from downtown Granbury on the 377.
I have found typically when staying at hotels that they have nice lobbies, but less than nice rooms. However, this hotel was not like that. The rooms were very nice indeed. I enjoyed my brief stay!
I believe this property is the best choice to stay in Granbury. The location was excellent, the room was spacious and well-designed, meeting all my needs.
Julie was a fantastic hostess. The whole experience superseded our expectations. We will make sure to book the Iron Horse Inn anytime we are in Granbury!
