Days Inn by Wyndham Glasgow, hotel in Glasgow

This Glasgow, Kentucky motel is a 40-minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park. It offers free passes to the YMCA, an indoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The floor was filthy they were remodeling and I think we got the worse rooms they had. The man who put out breakfast was very mean and talked badly about us. The pool was full of hair. The pics on website did not look like anything we saw there . very misleading.

The cost of our queen quite was quite nice. The ceilings on the third floor were quite high and made the room seem even larger. My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids here who are 10, 8, and 5. We all had plenty of specs to feel comfortable and slept great in our beds.

We ate twice at Yancey's Gastropub and Brewery, the local Glasgow brewery. The food was very good and their local beer was outstanding. The service was great and our servers were very friendly and made us as strangers feel welcome. Would highly recommend!!

We love old buildings and history. Downtown Glasgow is beautiful. We had a picnic lunch at Thelma Stovall Park on the green river. It was very peaceful and pretty. There are enough restaurants in the area to suit everyone. And close to Mammoth Cave.

The host is super friendly and really went out of her way to help us. She's open to recommendations, quick to reply on Booking and really great. She makes a great breakfast herself in the morning. We had scrambled eggs, baked bacon and blueberry pancakes with fruit. She also makes her own jams, which are divine! The accommodation is magical. We had a lovely night.

I will definately stay here again.

I will definately stay here again. I liked the variety of food for breakfast but wish they gave more time to enjoy it. The toilet was pretty low for someone that has handicaps to get on & off of it. The room itself was nice & the beds were comfortable. It is in a convenient location for access to stores & restaurants. We ate the buffet at the Shoneys & it was very good & worth what it cost.

Glasgow is a very small town, we did not stay long, and being a Monday after a holiday, a lot was shut down. That said, it was very charming, a number of restaurants we would have loved to try if able. Proximity to Mammoth Caves and other points of interest make it a good choice off the beaten track. The Main Street Bed and Breakfast where we stayed was a fantastic alternative to the many typical hotel choices available.

We went during Covid so many things were closed.

We went during Covid so many things were closed. It is a quaint town with a walking tour that is posted on boards around town. We learned about Billy Vaughn, internationally known jazz musician who played the twin sax. We had take out food from The Shogun restaurant while listening to Billy Vaughn music on Spotify while sitting in a Civil War era B&B, Hall Place. What more can you ask for.

It was my first time staying at a B&B so I didn't really know what to expect. I love old houses so I found the decor very interesting. The place was very clean and the staff was great and very accommodating. It was quiet and relaxing, I slept great. It was nothing like staying at a hotel where you hear people going in and out, slamming doors all hours of the night. I loved the breakfast spread and during afternoon hours they open as a cafe.

We were in the area looking for a house, the showing was early in the morning. We were going to miss breakfast so our host made us breakfast sandwiches and left them for us to take the next morning. Sharla went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her recommendation for dinner gave us our best meal in years. She is a terrific ambassador for Glasgow!

I like the location of the hotel. It has a B & B feel. I never saw any staff at all except at check in. Nothing fancy, but a nice little motel for the night. It had a microwave, a small frig & a little coffee maker.

Breakfast was good, not great. They were quite busy and the lady working the dining area was doing her best. I was hoping for pancakes but the biscuits and gravy was a good consolation!
