It was the cheapest place around, really easy to find and next to In and Out and Dennys. The room was quiet in spite of the nearby traffic. Parking was easy just outside the door.

Gilroy is the home of the Gilroy rodeo the 2nd weekend in August annually. Exceptionally well run and awesome event! The area is beautiful and very accessible to San Jose. We flew into San Jose Airport and it was a quick 35 minute drive. Enjoyed dinner at Pineapple Village restaurant.

It's a truck stop and should be labeled as that in the Bookink.com listing.
We're okay with truck stops as long as we know that's what we are booking. Please label it as such for other unsuspecting Booking.com patrons. Our confidence in booking.com dropped some due to this surprise.

If you like garlic or food at all, the garlic festival is a must do. The little town of Gilroy was still enjoyable even though the festival was canceled. Plenty of cool little restaurants and a couple of taverns to eat and drink.

It has been over ten years since we lived in the area.
It has been over ten years since we lived in the area.
So many things have changed.
Traffic is denser than I remember.
There are a lot more stores and shopping centers here and we haven't yet visited the other side of town.

This Hampton Inn & Suites took the COVID compliance way too far. There was no boxed cereal, milk or OJ. There was no coffee even at breakfast. I reserved a “suite” like usual. When I walked in, it was just a HUGE ROOM. It was a hotel room that slept 5 of us with no partition. I have NEVER had to sleep in a room with my daughter’s boyfriend. It was appalling to say the least. Please don’t waste your money unless you like being packed into one room like sardines for $225 a night!!

Locals are friendly... and catch breakfast or lunch at Sandy's if you like good home cooking. If your cash is limited and you love going up stairs The Garlic Farm Inn has clean rooms with very good views... I will be back there next year when I work Northern California Renaissance Faire out on Casa De Fruta. Gilroy cab drivers are the best!
This is a good motel 6. Nothing really exceptional or terrible. Price was good for what you get. Not as bad as the horrible Motel 6 on the Alameda in San Jose Ca which i still urge even my worst enemy Not to stay at. No one deserves what i went thru there at the mercy of that terrible manager. And not nearly as wonderful as the GEM of of the Motel 6 chain located in Marina Ca. They have my heart. Motel 6 Gilroy Ca. is what you would expect from motel 6. Clean, comfortable , no fuss, Good value with a bonus at this location ...free exercise !
The room was very clean and comfortable and very easy for my handicapped Husband to access. Good parking and place to walk our Terrier around on the grassy strip at the side of the property.
The breakfast was really good, especially the waffle, and sufficient for us even with no eggs or sausage. Helpful staff and comfortable eating area. We will go there again if visiting family in Gilroy.
The room was dirty. The floors were NOT SWEPT and the room had a funky smell. Unfortunately, we could not find another hotel with availability for the weekend we came in. We would have left this place. The following morning we saw housekeeping pulling mattresses from 2nd story rooms and airing them out in the sun.... Looked like they were trying to get rid of BED BUGS!
Have stayed here several times over the years. Nice lodge like hotel. I always get the king sized room with the fireplace, really nice. Decent selection for breakfast. Pool and hot tub were refreshing. Gilroy outlets are east of hwy 101. Awesome shopping over there!
Very quaint and cozy motel, in a convenient location in Gilroy. Although there is a lot of traffic along the boulevard and the railroad tracks are nearby, the motel is surprisingly quiet. I slept well, and found the room to be comfortable. Internet was good, too.
The hotel lobby is very pretty and large and attractive. Our room was good. Breakfast was nice.
I even utilized the free washer/dryer. They sell supplies for laundry at their “store” by registration desk.
I liked the complimentary bottles of water too!
Very nice hotel, large room with twin queen beds. TV, fridge, microwave, coffee making facilities. Decent shower and neutrogena products supplied. Beds were vere comfortable with large pillows. Nice pool area. Great Diner for breakfast next door.
No restaurant at the hotel. Dennys was close.
The room was spartan but clean. Everything worked. The bed was comfortable. For a guy alone, like I was, it was all I could ask for. I wouldn't bring my wife there.
Beds were absolutely terrible..very small queen bed, hard bed and uncomfortable. Pillow case and towel were stained- real gross.
I get that it is an inexpensive hotel but the stains were ridiculous- never again!
They do not serve breakfast but they do have 3fast food restaurants across the street and a gas station under the hotel that is opened 24/7. They also have a mini restaurant inside as well as an ice cream bar
The staff should have mentioned before checking in that there were homeless people living in tents behind the hotel which they can’t do anything about. It is not visible from entry or parking.
We were on our way to Santa Cruz, so we chose to stay at Best Western for a night. The hotel is very convinient for us. We went to Gilroy outlets for shopping which is close by this hotel.
Mary, the hotel manager went above and beyond to help us. The Hotel location is close to where we wanted to go and a bonus shopping since Premium outlet is just walking from the hotel.
It was the cheapest place around, really easy to find and next to In and Out and Dennys. The room was quiet in spite of the nearby traffic. Parking was easy just outside the door.
