Search hotels in Fort Klamath

I liked the beautiful views of Crater Lake, the historical site at Fort Klamath, and the nice town of Klamath Falls. The people were friendly. We are glad we went. Fort Klamath area needs a gas station and a breakfast place. The nearest amenities were either 20 miles away from Aspen Inn or a ways into the park. In the park the hours were limited no gas until 10 A.M. and no breakfast until 9 A.M. with limited choices. But the inconvenience did not dampen our trip and we had a great time. Also, the swings in temperature at Crater Lake (from about 65 degrees down to low 40’s) can be surprising so travelers should pack jackets and hats.

Plenty of outdoor activities by glorious Crater Lake, less than 30 minutes drive from here. Make sure you check for seasonal (and COVID-19) closures though, as this limits access to some of the spectacular overviews of the lake. Plan ahead with supplies and vehicle servicing as this is a remote area.
