We loved the fact that the cabins had kitchens complete with pots and pans and dishes. The access to the river was amazing too. We liked having the firepit to use, and the game area, and that each cabin had their own bbq grill.

Nice town to check out the Redwoods and trains at Roaring Camp. First time that we stayed at Fern River resort and we enjoyed our cabin. Feels so good to be with nature and hearing the sound of the river.
Felton is a nice place to check out if you want to be with nature, avoid the crowds and the city life.

felton is hidden close to san francisco and san jose and you can really relax without a long flight or drive to get there. Cowell State Park is great for all ages- easy hikes, interesting history and low cost

I loved going to the Cowboy Bar and Grill for dinner.
I loved going to the Cowboy Bar and Grill for dinner. My husband and I went to the Felton Music Hall and saw a wonderful concert with Jeffrey Foulcault. An intimate venue. Felton is in a beautiful setting with redwood trees and a cute little town. I highly recommend a visit!

Felton has a family like feel.
Felton has a family like feel. The town is set in the redwoods and there are many hiking trails for all skill levels. If you are a nature enthusiast this is the perfect town. The local eateries are divine. When we come back for our Santa Cruz vacation we will stay in Felton.
