The bed needs to be replaced. There was only about 1/3 roll of TP. We had to ask for bath towels which we were begrudgingly given. The 2 men at the reception really needs to work on people skills.

Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business. It is close to one location my company operates. Also, close enough (just over an hour) to a major airport (Salt Lake City, Utah).
Depending on the time of year you can enjoy many outdoor activities.

Bathroom needs to be changed. Stool was made for a kid, had hard time sitting down and then getting up. Not disability compliant I am sure. One lamp had a short in it, so unplugged it. Breakfast food was cold one morning out of two days that I ate there. Was clean and was good size, but bathroom sucked.

We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March.
We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March. It was excellent. The volunteers who helped with it were terrific! Some housed the musicians, Many helped from the admissions table to moving chairs to taking out trash. What a great group of people helped! The cost for the weekend was very reasonable. The food available for purchase, and the beer, were very good. The people we talked with were friendly and pleasant.

I love Bear River State Park right on I-80 , walk into town.
I love Bear River State Park right on I-80 , walk into town...downtown Evanston. It's free, has free wifi, a well for water and electric outlets in the picnic area. Bison and Moose on the property.

We decided to go see the train Round House in town.
We decided to go see the train Round House in town. It was super fun and interesting. We were able to walk all around the grounds and see the event centers. There are trains the kids can climb up on and see the controls. We were able to walk out on the train turn table, that was cool. Excellent place for photos! We did go on a Saturday and the Round House was closed to tour the inside of the building, but there was still plenty to see.
Every thing is clean. All rooms are on ground floor. The hot breakfast is served in the restaurant on the property and was good. Absolutely every employee we came in contact with were very friendly, went out of their way to take care of you and make you feel welcome. The restaurant had delicious food. we ate dinner both nights and the food was excellent and large portions. If I ever return to Evanston I would definitely stay here!!
Very comfortable and well situated for freeway travel. Staff was super nice. Room was well appointed and was very clean. Parking was safe. Even though the hotel was full of bikers (on their way to Sturgis?) and hot rodders (on their way to Reno?) it was really a very quiet and well behaved crowd. Glad they accepted pets. Best hotel I've stayed at in Evanston.
Location was excellent while visiting Evanston. We live the staff and the owner and the front desk people. We are building a log cabin in the area and stayed there for a week and they made us feel at home. The bar and restaurant were excellent. Best Peime rib I ever ate in my life!
An older motel but they keep it clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Mattress was firm and comfy. Rooms are larger than most other new hotels. I've stayed here many times over the last 20 years when driving West coast to Denver. Can't beat the price!
Will definitely stay here again... I am very picky about hotels and I really appreciated the extremely comfortable bed and decor of the room.. stayed in the double queen with a private bathroom and large vanity sink area.
The location of this hotel was perfect after a long day on the road. The hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the staff was courteous and professional. Well done.
Old style hotel that is very accommodating in their service and excellent and prices and very comfortable to our needs. After very expensive places all over the country it was a complete joy to stay there
a little dated but clean and well maintained. Our room was as good as one for double the price elsewhere. my wife is always leery of hotels rated below 8 but she was pleased with this one.
Everything was great the staff at the hotel was very friendly and Savannah at the front desk was very nice, went above and beyond to make our visit great.
