    Edwardsville is Awesome!

Edwardsville is Awesome! Within minutes of the hotel there are hours of things to do including dining. There are so many restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining. Everything from hamburger joints to steak and seafood restaurants. Edwardsville is known to be "A Foodie Kind of Town". To mention a few activities for the kiddos there is a trampoline park "Altitude", a children's museum, Edison's Entertainment Complex with a variety of games, bowling, and food. There are bike and walking trails throughout the Entire town...nice parks too! The city is very clean, and the citizens are warm and welcoming.

The night manager, was polite and seemed sincere in trying to help resolve all the issues that kept popping up one by one all evening. The bed was very comfortable and loaded with extra pillows. The location was not short of running hot water. I was able to fill the spa tub and use the shower without interruption. I had to be moved 2 a secondary room due to the fact the one I rented did not have a remote control for the television and the cleanliness was subpar at best. The second room had a television that would not connect to a service nor communicate with the remote control. The microwave in the room head the wrong size inner glass carousel so the door would not shut properly. The restroom did not have any toilet paper on the rollers and the trash containers or vacant of trash bags. The only food available at this location was one vending machine that some of the items we're not even sellable. I had to leave the location there were to find some food at a gas station but when I returned found the door keys would not work directly in front of my room that I had to walk around the building allowing my food to get cold. The morning at finally arrived and the breakfast was ready to be served. Unfortunately the continental breakfast consisted of a couple pre wrapped danishes, a couple pieces of fruit and hot water to make your own instant coffee. I thought I would finish my wonderful visit at this location by taking a soak in the spa tub. Once drained, it was coated in a saw dust residue. It was brought to the mgrs attention as well. I was very let down by the fact I wasted $150 on such a horrible experience. I would not recommend this location to anybody.

Everything we needed was very close and accessible (shopping, restaurants, etc). And getting to and from interstates was very easy. After a two week stay (and after staying in other cities locally), Edwardsville is definitely a place we'll come back to.

Sleepy little town straight out of the books of yesterday. Small-town America is alive and well. Wildey Theater is a lovely venue. Sgt Peppers offers terrific breakfast. Holiday Inn Express is clean, courteous and easy access.

This hotel was new, clean and the beds were comfortable.

This hotel was new, clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked that they are pet friendly. The breakfast was so so but was included with the stay. The menu was cereal, juice, coffee, fried eggs, sausage patties, fruit boiled eggs, muffins, bagels and granola and yogurt. Plenty to choose from. The indoor pool was nice and had wheelchair lift for the pool which is handy for anyone requiring it. The kids loved the pool. An even better if they had a hot tub. The gym looked very clean and equipped with the basic work out machines anyone could get a good work out there. Getting around in Edwardsville was easy and plenty of restaurants to choose from. One complaint I had is after my stay there were pending charges for "incidentals" for 27 dollars for each of the rooms I booked. I was never told about this potential charge. I called and they were very nice and explained that after 5 days the charges will disappear. I just feel they should be transparent and tell their patrons about this "incidental" potential charge. Otherwise, my daughters and I had a very pleasant stay.

I stay in that area once a month and my company has kind of a limit to what we spend on rooms. This place was perfect and they had stuff set aside for the early risers who may miss the continental breakfast. Awesome service, staff and amenities. Thank you!! I’m definitely going to stay there again.

The breakfast was exceptional, hot and fresh. The Staff was especially friendly. Tim at the front desk was Awesome. He assisted not only me but my other family members staying there. Tim informed us of the big group arriving there and the best time to come down for breakfast.

Appreciate the sustainability efforts like using real coffee cups and the shampoo, soap, conditioner dispensers, and recycle containers in the room.Loved the hot showers, comfortable beds, helpful, friendly staff. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Tasty breakfast.

It was a very comfortable apartment and quiet location. Alexa control of almost everything was a pleasant surprise. The assortment of coffee, cocoa, and tea kups is the best we've ever seen! Easy to find with ample parking.
