Any bad reviews were done by people expecting a 5-star hotel. This is middling hotel, convenient and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even accommodated us by moving us closer to the lobby so my 91 year old mother didn't have to walk very far.
All guests were friendly, as well. The hot breakfast was adequate and well provided.
The room was large and provided enough space to relax at the end of the day. Cable was well provided, WiFi connection was good.
I was pleasantly surprised, based on the previous reviews. It was nice.
Just off Highway 75, this Sherman hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. It features an indoor pool and is 3 miles from Red River Historical Museum.
Stayed in Denison for an Aunts Memorial. Did not go site seeing. Denison is a city with a good selection of stores, restaurants, fast food services.
Like that it's freeway is clean and infrastructure is being upgraded.

Room was clean the day of arrival.
Room was clean the day of arrival. I asked for the room to be clean all 3 nights but house keeping never came. I had to ask the front desk for towels daily. Had to empty my trash and make bed each day. Even after I reminded the front desk to clean the room it was not done.
Breakfast was pretty good for my guest but I’m vegetarian so there were no options for me which is common.

Friendly , peaceful, home as a child. The lake, 20 minutes to Casinos in Oklahoma. Fishing,coffee at CJs w/ wonderful deserts. Sandwiches etc. Shrimp at cotton patch, Also lots of woods to forage .

North Lake Texoma is right within driving distance, and...
North Lake Texoma is right within driving distance, and there are several great restaurants, including Cotton Patch and The Jalapeno Tree. We haven't made it to The Point on North Lake Texoma but plan to. It is close so you could drive into Dallas and surrounding areas easily off Highway 75.

As our trips to Denison are to visit family, we really do not do much sightseeing. There are several parks and Lake Texoma and the dam to tour. We also enjoy the local restaurants (not national chains).
We needed a place for a few hours to rest before continuing on our long road trip. The place was perfect. The check-in was very quick and easy. We were very pleased with the check-in because the last few hotels took forever. When you have been on the road and tired the check-in process is a plus when it goes smoothly! The gentleman working the desk was awesome! The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There is an I hop within walking distance to the hotel.
The house is very nicely furnished and appeared to be almost all new inside. The kitchen area was very roomy which was great for a group stay. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this property to others and will likely stay here again the next time I visit Denison.

I had to house an elderly couple for the week at this hotel and the staff went above and beyond in helping me getting them settled but also kept an eye on them for us!! I can't thank them enough!
Pool only thing about this hotel but inside the pool area was a true safety hazard cause there were buckets and yellow tape around hot tub and bathroom was blocked off ... true safety issue in there ...
Reasonable, pet friendly, room was clean. I like that they enforce prevention of pets barking excessively and disturbing guests. Very quiet hotel. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave.
We travel with a small dog so we expect our room to be "pet friendly". This was not a room designated for pets but a regular room. Very impressed. Bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean.
