Located near where I was working and good access to major roads in the area. Reception staff were helpful at resolving things. Credit to Omar who asked me about my stay while I was waiting in reception for a delivery. He was genuinely interested and tried to resolve something for me. I want to give credit for that. Thanks!

WoodSpring Suites Dearborn Detroit, hotel in Dearborn

WoodSpring Suites Dearborn Detroit is located in Dearborn, 7.8 km from Baker College and 15 km from Motown Historical Museum.

The worst hotel experience: 1-the hotel has an electricity problem. All switches had electric issues, and we were full of static electricity during our stay. We couldn't touch anything, even in bed. 2- The tiny, square pillows on the bed seriously hurt our necks.

Like most all of Detroit Metro, it is dated, tired and clearly not growing. Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford are excellent attractions. It is a diverse population with a very notable Islamic community.

It felt like home away from home.

It felt like home away from home. Great location, amazing view, very comfortable, clean. I ate at famous burger the food and service were great. Walked across the street to buffalo wild wings for drinks. Getting around in Dearborn was pretty easy, plenty places to eat and shop.

Hotel was ok but very noisey!

Hotel was ok but very noisey! The pool water was cloudy & smelly, this was reported to the main desk but nothing was done, we wouldnt let our grandkids swim because of it!! We understand road construction but this was over the top loud, busy, couldnt get anywhere! The breakfast was so so! We have stayed at many Confort Inns & this was disappointing! Would love to come back for Greenfield Village this Fall but you would need to give us a really great deal & we are due free nights!

    It’s was horrible.

It’s was horrible. The room smelled like Marijuana the room was dirty stains and food on all the walls doors were broken and i wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody. It needs to be condemned And closed down. If I was part of this place and business I would be ashamed.

    BED BUGS ruined our stay.

BED BUGS ruined our stay. Without a response from a manager is what is so frustrating. When staying at a hotel you have some expectations - cleanliness is one of them.... bugs in the bed and in the corners of the room was NOT an expectation, I could have stayed home and slept in our dairy barn for that. I'm still awaiting a response from the general manager. I do not want to pay for a room with bugs, that's not what I signed my family and I up for that night. Room 503 was our room for anyone interested. Hope they have since cleaned before your stay. Check before you pay.

We only had enough hot water for one shower after that it was cold. I had to wash my hair the 2day in ice cold water. There were big chucks of the tile floor busted out. The faucet on the sink in the kitchen was not even attached you could lift it out. Not all the electric outlets worked. It was just overall not a good stay at all. I would not recommend this place. It looks like a run down apartment complex on the outside. It’s not taken care of at all. There was no water in the swimming pool. No workout room or breakfast as advertised.

I don’t know about you but I was a bit disappointed. it’s more expensive than the Sheraton but the Sheraton rooms were as good. ok the breakfast here was nicer but for the price difference it’s not worth it. as for the location, unless you have a car or some relatives or work to do in Dearborn I suggest that you research the area you’d like to book in.

Pros:The hotel staff made up for the cons with exceptional customer service. Hell they even let me have a late check-out up to 1:45PM I may switch my appointed reservation for the 4th of July from Courtyard Marriott to the Hampton Inn Dearborn. This is bar none my favorite hotel stays I've ever had.

Could have our own food because of a full kitchen. Had to stay here because of home renovations and no water service at our home. It was nice to come to our room after work and feel somewhat like an apartment instead of a small hotel room. Had utensils, pots, pans and dishes.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Our room was clean and breakfast was reasonable for the price - the usual. We didn't have any issues with noise either even though the hotel was full of people that obviously went to a concert downtown.

Nothing. Everything from start to finish was a horrible experience. All staff members, clearly heavy drug users, had zero job knowledge, and were extremely unhelpful. We had no idea idea that Dearborn was a dangerous area and there were zero security measures.

I liked the price and the bed was comfortable. The room SEEMED cleaned and there were no bugs in the room. In general it was a sober looking hotel, with the right amenities. There is gym and a small pool for kids. I liked that the room had a clothes iron.

Staff was friendly. The rooms are relatively large and have daylighting. The rooms we had were quiet and pointed away from the Main Street. The hotel is very close to the food factory/museum by car, which is where we wanted to go.
