After third trip to area, we got our Coulee Dam tour. Although interesting, I am sorry to say 911 has ruined these types of tours cause you don't get to see everything. The history and the area were beautiful. The hotel, Columbia River Inn, was apartment like and close to dam, restaurant, and historical town walk. We were able to walk across the bridge to dinner.

Coulee Dam is a very small town but it holds so much history. The Grand Coulee Dam the reason we visited. I wanted my grandchildren to experience the Grand Coulee Dam and Eastern Washington in general. We live on the West side of the State, and they had never been to Eastern Washington.

Coulee Dam is a great place to visit The motel is located is a very good place to view the 8th wonder of the world (Grand Coulee Dam).
The motel is adequate but over priced. Due to the lack of motels in the area, they can get their price. It seems that the owner if not putting much effort in taking care of the property and short on help to address problem that occur. Our bathroom toilet overflowed and the problem was not caused by us and it was not addressed immediately.

Location stunning - all rooms have a view of the dam but...
Location stunning - all rooms have a view of the dam but book early to get the best end of the property - best to go outside and across the road for the laser light show - pool is beautiful and staff pleasnt and helpful - best to go out for breakfast (only a muffin) - our room had a whirlpool bath (in the room!) but also a conventional bathroom. Take a tour of the dam to get on top of it.
