Beautiful room, lovely breakfast and super friendly staff . Pity we only had one night here and didn’t get to try the cuisine.(although my partner did try the famous chowder )

Concord is a great historic town, one of the bedrock locations in American history. It has preserved its heritage. But the lack of reliable cell phone service, unless you can access the internet, is a huge drawback. I understand that there are objections to the the ugliness of cell phone towers, but the town planners need to move into the 21st century, Lack of cell phone access will doom the town to backwater status,.
Pluses: Great, iconic historic sites, Fiorello is a wonderful restaurant. Great cheese shop. They just need to solve the cell phone problem.

Concord is a charming town with lots of historical sights to see. Most things are historical so if you don't have interest in history probably not a good destination. Very good location to explore Battle of Concord and Lexington. Good for exploring authors of the Transcendental movement. Beautiful fall color sightseeing.

Concord is special place.
Concord is special place. Largely also because my father, brother and I attended Middlesex for total of 18 years beginning in 1919. Wonderful memories. And Colonial Inn has always been lovely part of the process!

So much to see and do in Concord.
So much to see and do in Concord. The North Bridge and Louisa May Alcott’s house and the shops and restaurants in the town were wonderful. Plenty of parking available. The Colonial Inn has good food with the colonial atmosphere. The town is beautiful.

It is a great place to get away from the hussle and bussle as it is maintained as a historic town. You won't see any tall buildings or neon lights...that kind of thing. Too bad though that cell coverage is wanting - I guess to keep this center as more of a respite. It is right on train line and West concord village is separate area with other delightful shops. You can actually take the train and travel in-between towns.
Concords Main Street Cafe is a hotspot for coffee etc, and they have evening music and bar. Oh go to the old and rare book Barrow Bookstore down a quaint driveway off main street.
It is almost like going to a reenactment town. All you need are people walking around in revolutionary duds. Go vist Louisa May Alcotts childhood home, and Thoreau's Walden pond and Emerson and Hawthorne.....the list is long!!

I already sent my comments in a previous survey, but I do want to stress here HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS TO HAVE GOOD WIFI AND INTERNET ACCESS. The hotel did in fact have good service. Please keep this as a priority in your hotels.
The room (#27) was wonderful! A very nice size, with a very comfortable bed. Everything is walker-user accessible, the tub is perfectly accessible for taking a shower. The closet is huge, there's even an ironing board!
The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing in the Concord area. Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is just a short drive away, as are many other "important sites". The Old North Bridge is very close, probably easy walking distance for most people.
Beautiful historic inn. We were visiting from Montana and California to help our sister who was returning home from rehab. The location was perfect as we were centrally located between the care center in Concord and the home in Lincoln. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the service excellent and the price within budget.
We are most of our meals in the hotel restaurants which were excellent!
Historic building, our room #4 looked out on Concord Green where Red Coats assembled in April, 1775 prior to marching at famous Concord Bridge where they were met by area minutemen and driven back, beginning disasterous retreat to Boston.
Nice front veranda where we could have leisure drinks and snacks with friends we were visiting.
The Inn is located in the center of Concord and is well situated for easy walking to many shops and restaurants. I had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was well cooked and presented. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel had no hot water during our stay. We were told we would get a 50 percent discount but that it would have to go through Booking.com.
What do we have to do to get that to happen?
Thank you.

Fantastic staff and location for Concord and surrounding cities. Absolutely adored and appreciated the desk staff- very helpful and accommodating. Well equipped space, had everything needed and was very clean.
I had several questions for the staff that they answered w/ a smile. Everyone was very pleasant. Also the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. It was very quiet and we felt comfortable.
My husband and I loved the hotel, the staffs are very nice and especially the girls they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We would definitely book with them again.
Great place to stay in Concord. Very central and comfortable. We had a great tour of the town with the Concord Tour Company which starts right outside the Inn.
Located in a historical town, the hotel was cute and beautiful. There are many beautiful cafes and historical buildings around. The room was very clean.
