This motel is going thru a remodel, so things will probably continue to improve. Our room was already updated and nice. The BIG feature of this property is the FANTASTIC Mountain view in the "back yard". If you stay here, you MUST check out the view from the back!!!

    Very disappointed in Wyndham.

Very disappointed in Wyndham. I first arrived to the strong smell of pot. Entered my room and the smell was horrible. The air conditioner made terrible noises all through out the night. But it did keep my room cool. Everytime I left my room,my keys stopped working. One ice machine for the property.the other ice machines were covered in spider webs and not working. The pool was closed. I have been in several hotels/motels this year and their pools were open. The shower curtain was dirty and I had to ask for bath cloths. Hair dryer was filthy!

I'm a travel photographer who travels a lot and has stayed in numerous hotels around the country. This hotel was cozy, clean, and comfortable—at an affordable price, on the outskirts of a high-traffic tourist area. I am sure this lodge will have accumulated many bad reviews over the years by those expecting a five-star experience on an eighty dollar budget. But, if your traveling through the area and looking for something that fits a reasonable travel budget, you won't go wrong.
