The place seemed average for its size for amenities. Battle Creek is 40 min. away for Walmart & other shopping, and a larger variety. Colewater is probably a good place for fishing and other lake activities. We selected it only to balance the detailed cloud cover forecasts, as of the morning before, for our astronomical observations that evening, and it was successful for that temporary need.
Very run down. The price was way to high for the condition and quality of this hotel. Recently stayed in Columbus, Ohio and spent the same amount of money and stayed in a hotel that was head and shoulders about this place.
The location is perfect for Coldwater visits. The neighbors were not seen or heard.
Cute place on the water, it was February so not a lot of time spent outside. Everything worked well and was clean!
