We like the town alright …we have friends there and enjoy time with them. However, I made the mistake of thinking that if we paid a bit more for a Comfort Suites Hotel, it would be nicer than the Red Roof we had visited the year before…WRONG!!! The Red Roof Inn was a much better experience. Why in the world would Comfort Suites put a bed right next to a window with NO CURTAIN, when there are Stalag 17 style security lights right outside the window???!!? It was High Noon in the room all night long. I’d ve asked to be moved, but we got in late, we’re leaving early, and had a lot of stuff we didn’t want left in the car.

Cute city not far from Nashville, right near the base, if your kids love the military like ours! Great variety of food choices! The people are interesting. Try to stay off Wilma Rudolph it won’t happen but just plan an extra 30 minutes to get to your destination

I only knew about Fort Campbell, famous for being the home of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division (Band of Brothers Fame). I'm a military retiree so I like to tour different military installations. Fort Campbell's Post Exchange is one of, if not THE, largest in the system. I wanted to shop there. :) The area has a few of its own unique attractions but it's also 30 minutes from Nashville, which offers a plethora of other attractions.

Clarksville is a "military" town, being close to Fort Campbell. Its main thruway is Wilma Rudolph Blvd., it can get pretty congested at times. There is lots of places to eat and shop. It's not far from Nashville. There are winery's and distilleries that you can tour.

We always stay at La Quinta and have even stayed at this one...
We always stay at La Quinta and have even stayed at this one about 5 years ago. This last stay was very disappointing and we will not be back. The room felt dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable there was a spring coming through the mattress, there was hair in the shower, the pool was filthy, the exit door by the pool was propped open for anyone to enter the hotel, and you could smell weed and see the smoke in the hallway.
We booked at Sleep Inn last minute for $116 in the clarksville area as it is close to nashville but much better in hotel prices. Its still a new build so everything was clean. Our only disappointment was that the included breakfast was granola bars, fruits, or cinnabon packed - they were not serving full breakfast- I would understand during the pandemic but questionable for July 2021
We were pleasantly surprised to find this Baymont in Clarksville, it was very very clean, the room was quiet and very comfy beds/pillows and the breakfast was wonderful. But, mostly the staff was super!!! Everyone made us feel welcomed and as if we had known each other for along time. Kudos to this awesome staff:)
Breakfast had several choices. Close to shopping. Centrally located between Ft Campbell and Clarksville. Close enough to Nashville and airport. Easy access to highway. Staff were very nice and friendly. Good price. Clean rooms. Safe area. King executive suite was spacious. Beds were comfy.
There was nothing I can say we liked or could even tolerate about this place. The only reason we didn't leave was a no refund policy and there were no visible live bed bugs. @Wyndham Hotels should be ashamed at themselves for even having a place like this under their name!
I had no clue that I would have a working spa in the room and it was excellent to get into and relax!! The bed was huge and very comfortable and breakfast was just enough to enjoy!! The stuff was very helpful with information and kind!!
The rooms were spacious. There was a tv, microwave, and fridge. The office staff were so nice. Check in and out were simple. The location of the hotel is noteworthy also. All of the dining areas are within walking distance.
The breakfast is the best continental breakfast around here that I have had I have stayed at previous locations that are in this price range type of hotel and this by far out beats quality ends free breakfast
Modern decorated, clean, convenient to Northern Clarksville area. Fun theme (coffee!). Excellent communication with owner including quick responses. Rooms are spacious. Kitchen supplies all your needs.
I don’t like the breakfast at this hotel at all. Myself and my daughter and her kids usually stay at this hotel every memorial weekend for our family reunion and I don’t like the breakfast at all.
Indoor spa, pool, dining on sight. I really like the old type hotels The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly.
Nothing the key didnt work ,the room was dirty, black mold in bathroom, chemicals poured on surfaces made it hard to breathe, and staff was rude about it!
