We had a large king room that provided a loveseat for our son to sleep on. It was a great room for us. The hotel is in good shape, clean, and up-to-date. The breakfast was great, though some bacon or sausage would have been even better.

The staff was nice but my stay was horrible. I was told it would be this price online $97.00 then when I go to check in and they wouldn't give me the room for that the $97 like booking.com quoted mr. They charged me double. The facility needs a upgrade. It's dirty and the keys to get into the building didn't work and we were freezing outside four different times fix your doors

The side road leading off the main highway to the motel was hard to find in the dark and poorly lit.
Local Amish furniture market is excellent. Good sport clothing and fishing and hunting gear store just outside of town.
Usually last place going north for relatively inexpensive gas if you are heading north.

My son and his wife live here. I love the small town atmosphere. People are welcoming and friendly. There are a lot of Amish communities in Clare so watch for their horse and buggies as you drive down the roads.
