The lobby was clean and updated but
our room looked like it was decorated in the 80's. Lighting was terrible and the wallpaper was coming loose in the bathroom with sheetrock coming out.

The location is great and near some restaurants and a Walmart. We had a Queen Studio which had a full kitchenette and fridge. It had lots of space plus a seating area. Breakfast was simple and nice but not much hot food offering but there were breads, sausage patties, eggs, oatmeal, cereals, and yogurts. Heater worked great during the blizzard and beds were comfy. Sinclair gas station right outside the property.

Location was good, beds nice and staff friendly.
The fire sprinkler had a HUGE leak and all our luggage was completely saturated in water. Had to find a dryer for every article of clothing.

I don't like the drama that most of the born here people are about. I do like some of the scenery around carson city nv. My favorite restaurant is San Marcos grill. If you are new to this area and like the out doors you should go check out the water falls. That is a great place.

We ate at Olive Gardens and Red's 395 BBQ.
Getting around was very easy and short time to get to Reno and
Virginia City. I loved Carson City, was very clean and seems like
a nice place to live. I will come back.

Absolutely beautiful, most places we went were inviting to...
Absolutely beautiful, most places we went were inviting to us. We are a mixed family and we noticed in some areas we weren’t welcomed. Go cart place in Carson was very disrespectful to my daughters, partner and I when we went go cart racing. They were playing white power music and being rude to us. We continued to stay, to ignore them. staff was not professional at all, we had to keep asking where to go, the female kinda just shoved the helmets are way. We waited after 3 other groups of people who were Caucasian go before us, essentially we waited over an hour to go. Then our turn was very short. I would not recommend this place at all. If you are any shade of brown, do not go here.
Yogurt beach was INCREDIBLE, a must go. Get the pineapple, burst of flavor non stop!
We did drive out of Carson daily, must go to Caps pizza near kings beach, INCREDIBLE PIZZA, and very welcoming staff. A must go!
Also the Grid for burgers and wings!!
Breakfast was a 45 minute wait. There was ZERO priority given to guest of the hotel. Guest should have priority in the restaurant and all facilities given the price they pay and the fact they are staying at the resort. It was called a resort but there was nothing special about the facility and guests were prioritized at the bottom. Don’t waste your money. NOTHING special about this place. I’ll pay more to stay on Tahoe for the view or somewhere else that prioritizes guests.
We had to cancel the trip on the morning of due to a snow storm. We were past any cancelation timeframe to not get billed; I called the hotel at 4am in the morning and they were super nice and understanding and cancelled the stay without billing us. Very helpful! I booked with them for next weekend and it was a great stay.
Everything was very good about the property, the room, the staff and the pricing. But the $75 charge for one small well behaved dog was an outrage. This is by far the most we have ever paid for our dog to stay for one night in any hotel. We were in a Holiday Inn the following night and the pet charge was a reasonable $25.
The house was spotless and very comfortable. After camping for four days in Yosemite, the house gave us a much needed reprieve, and relaxation. Perfect location to check out Carson City and a very close drive to Virginia City.
My kids loved the bunk beds and a TV in their room was an added bonus!
There is ample parking and the hotel itself is accessible for regional work between Reno and Tahoe. Since I was in both cities for the weekend it made sense to stay between them, and the drive into Carson City over the mountains is quite lovely.
The staff are friendly and the hotel is pet friendly.
The breakfast, while underwhelming, was at least available and included.
There was an icemaker available - but I understand that to be standard equipment in the US.
That's about it.
This motel is an amazing place, with very quiet rooms, a comfortable bed, almost no street traffic noise, and the lowest rate in town I could find. Also close to services. I will be back next time I'm in Carson City.
It was a nice a quiet Hotel and Casino. Staff were great. Black Bear restaurant is in there, a little pricey. Nice area for you to take a walk. Plenty of parking. Nice weather also.
Breakfast was just cereal, toast and muffins. They had coffee which was decent. The hotel wasn’t busy at the time we stayed there so it was very quiet.
